What a weekend!

Here we are together again!
The last time Lindsay was in town was our wedding and the last time Greg was around was Christmas of 2004. It was great to get a chance to hang out with the whole gang again! We did a little fishing, lots of eating, and just relaxing - it was really nice! Sunday, Sandra put together a lunch and invited family and friends over so we would make sure to get a chance to see as many people as we could before we all headed back home. We really enjoyed getting a chance to see everyone again! Hopefully it won't be long until we get a chance to head back out to Texas!

Suzanne & Jeremy Tie the Knot!

This weekend Lex and I headed back to San Antonio, as you can tell...we got to do and see a lot of people while we were there. One of those things was go to my cousin Suzanne's wedding! They were married Saturday night at North Hills United Methodist and the reception was held at Aggie Park! We had a blast and ate some great mexican food! Now, they are enjoying their honeymoon in Colorado! Congrats you two and hope you are enjoying your vacation! If you want you can visit their website at www.withthisring2006.com

Fishing Texas

This is my first official "blog" post. I had to brag about the gigantic fish that I caught at the tank today...This 6#, 24 inch bass felt like a stump when I set the hook. I would have taken a picture of the Gigantic Catfish that I caught, but it stole the fishing pole from me while I turned my back. Kristi and I are in Pleasanton for the weekend to finally have Christmas with Greg and Lindsay who are visiting from Jakarta, Indonesia as well as attending to Suzanne and Jeremy's wedding in San Antonio on Saturday.

Ginobli "Gino" Poth

Sara & Ginobli
Ginobli, learning to play fetch!
Isn't our grass pretty? :o)

Well, Ginobli is adjusting quite well to his new surroundings. We are proud to say that he has only had one accident so far, and it was the first night in his crate. It's really surprising, if he starts getting more active than normal, we put him outside and he does his business right away! We are so impressed! He does get a little lonely at night in his crate and starts to whine and bark, but it has only been two nights in his new bed - he'll be adjusted soon!

Here are a few more cute pics! Oh and by the way...I believe we have finally decided on his name as Ginobli. It was our original thought, but it is kind of a tongue twister - so "Gino" will be his nickname!

Enjoy!

Proud Parents

The Poth's - Lex, Kristi & Ginobli

We finally got a puppy last night! Isn't he adorable..he's a labrador/golden retriever mix. His mom's name was Molly and is a white lab/gold retreiver herself. The Dad is Buddy who is a solid black lab! Together they had 11 pups - 10 of which were white! You can tell who is more dominant in the family :o) Anyways...we are proud parents of a new puppy. As of right now, we are calling him Ginobli, "Gino" for short - after Manu Ginobli from the San Antonio SPURS! He is so sweet though, probably the most docile puppy I've ever seen! I'm sure he'll gain some energy once he get's used to his new home & don't worry, we will post pictures of him as he grows! Well, we are headed to the vet to get him checked out and get his shots!

By the way the large dog in the pic above is our neighbors dog, Porter, a Bull Mastiff He was so excited to have a new friend next door!

Fire!!!!

For Christmas, Lex got a Chimenea from his parents, so we finally tested it out this past weekend! We have practically a forrest behind our house, so late one night we went out there and stole some wood and dragged it back to our house. Lex, the manly man that he is, chopped it up with his axe and made fire! At first it was a little bit scary, we had it placed on our back porch which isn't too far from the house, and sparks began to fly! I was so afraid we were going to catch our roof on fire or our neighbors grass on fire! (Don't worry Mom...I bought a fire extinguisher the next day) Anyways... we decided to cover the top with a metal bucket, so the sparks cut down and we were able to enjoy the fire! About that time, our new neighbors came outside to visit - luckily the fire was no longer drifting over to their yard ;o) We are really excited to have them next door! They have a daughter that is 16 months old (who is adorable) so we were thinking once we get to know them better, we'll offer to babysit and see how we are together with a little baby! That'll be a lot of fun! Anyways, our lives are not that exciting at the moment, we are basically just working and working on the house! I can't wait for spring time to get here so we can enjoy the outdoors and hopefully meet a few more of our new neighbors! That's it for now...Ciao!

Dallas Visit

Here is a pic of the whole crew! We had about 10 cameras going at once, so you can understand why not everyone is looking at the camera! It was nice to be home with everyone for the holidays! We miss Texas :o)
We got Mom...Dance Dance Revolution!!! It's the kind you just plug into the TV. It's a lot harder than you would think, but we started to get the hang of it! It can definitely be workout if you get good!
Christmas night we had a big dinner and opened presents. This pic is of Mary Lou Hill (Me-Maw) and Gwen Kilgore (Granny) - looks like Santa thought they were good this year!

Pleasanton Visit

Here are a few pics of our visit to Pleasanton over Christmas. I used my mom's new photo explosion program to spruce up some of the pics! I especially like the way their tree sparkles! While we were down in P-town we spent some time out at the ranch fishing! It was the best fishing I have ever experienced - we practically caught something every other time we threw our line out! It was great! Lex and I of course were competing and I think he was surprised that I put him up for a good race! We both ended up with 14, but that's because I let him catch up to me before we officially quit :o) We had a great time though with his family and really enjoyed getting to visit with everyone over the holidays!
