Savannah Trip

THANK YOU LINDSAY & GREG!
Lex's sister, Lindsay and her husband Greg, treated us to two nights at The Kehoe house in Savannah, Georgia for our birthdays! Below are some great picture of our weekend! Thanks again guys...we really enjoyed it!
The Kehoe House B &B
The Piedmont Room - our home away from home!We were greeted by a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and champagne!
This is the piano room, where they had an afternoon reception with hors d'oeuvres and wine!
We ate made to order breakfast both mornings which consisted of....omeletes with your choice of crab/shrimp, spinach/tomatoes/mushrooms/onions/peppers, cheddar/swiss/feta, and ham/bacon/sausage....banana fosters french toast, apple and pecan pancakes, fresh fruit, stone ground grits, smoked salmon w/ cream cheese on a bagel and sausage! YIKES...we are still full :)

Tybee Island

During the day on Saturday, we headed to Tybee Island, right off of Savannah! It was a beautiful day to walk the beach.
We found many sea shells and Lex found this LIVE sand dollar! (don't worry we didn't keep this one) We are thinking we should decorate our guest room in a beach theme now that we have all these souvenirs!

Here's a picture of us on the beach!

This is a pier off Tybee Island that a lot of people seem to fish off of! And as you can see, there were still a few people laying out in swimsuits!

This is a picture of River Street in downtown Savannah at night. We had a great time just walking through the streets watching all the street performers - break dancers, African dancers and saxophone players! Overall, it was a great trip!

Hard at work...

Lex is in the process of making us a new stand for our fish tank....look forward to more pictures of the finished product! What a craftsman :)
This cool car was parked at our neighbor's house today....sup?
Poor little Ginobili, bored, watching Lex with his new hobby! I think he was saying, "I wanna go play, what is he doing now?"
Here is the product of my hard work today...a Jack 'O'Lantern! I put a touch light on the inside so I can light it up at night! Cool dude! I also roasted the pumpkin seeds...YUMMY!
Break time...and play time! Lex loves to get Ginobili all worked up!
That was our eventful Sunday...hope you all had a great weekend!

Apples Apples Everywhere 2006

So last year, I'm sure you all remember our post about going to Sky Top Orchard to pick our very own apples...if not, you can refer back to the October 2005 tab :) hehe! Well, this year we traveled up there with Sara and Ryan! We had just as much fun as we did before, but this time we got an even better apple...the Gala! We got a few of the Staymen Winesaps again this year, but they do not hold up to the good old Gala! Here are a few pics to enjoy!
