Fourth of July Visit from the 'Rents

This past weekend my parents came out to visit! It was a long 4 day weekend, so it worked out great. We enjoyed visiting and celebrating the 4th!

Mom & Dad on the suspension bridge over Falls Park in downtown Greenville! Remember this picture, it will probably be the only time you see my Dad this close to the rail of a suspension bridge! It took a lot of coaxing! :o)

Lex and Moi - Falls Park

Mom, with the Falls in the background!

I just thought this picture turned out nice! :o)

Mom got a great shot of this hydrangea and a lady on the bridge above saw me taking a picture of her taking a picture and jokingly asked her to "do it again, she missed the shot" and of course Mom got right back down there and pretended to take another picture! It was pretty funny and makes for a great picture! Now some random lady has a picture of mom bending over :o)

Dad and Lex trying not to get his picture taken! We love going to the Gville Drive games!

Mom and I @ the Greenville Drive Game

We took the trolley around downtown after the game as well. It's a really cute trolley and makes it pretty easy to get around downtown.

We played a lot of Wiiiiiiiiiiiii, mainly Mario Kart! As you can tell Mom got really into it!

On the Fourth, we headed to Heritage Park Amphitheater in Simpsonville for a concert by the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and fireworks! It had rained earlier that day, so the weather was perfect, not too hot!

The crowd at Heritage Park!

I didn't get any great shots of the fireworks, but they were awesome!

On Saturday we had planned to follow my parents down to Atlanta to go to the Georgia Aquarium, we didn't think about the crowd on a holiday weekend. We got there around 12:30/1:00 and there was at least a 45 min wait to buy tickets for the 4:00 tour. We skipped out and went to the CNN tour across town. It was interesting, but we definitely will have to go to the Aquarium next time they come out this way!

We love you so much and miss you! Thanks for coming to visit! Who's next...we love visitors!
