Spring Has Sprung...

Saturday was a beautiful day - Lex worked outside pretty much ALL day long...getting the yard and garden ready for spring! He did a great job! I did help a little, but I give him all the credit!

Here is our garden this year...notice the hay...it is to help prevent the yard fabric from deteriorating in the sun and to prevent weeds, which we never pick :o)

This year we went with a few new veggies - cucumbers, zucchini, tabasco peppers, sugary cherry tomatoes and of course 5 large tomato plants! YUMMY - we can't wait!

I planted some begonias in a pot near our back door...we'll see how long they last ;o) They sure are pretty for now!

Saturday night we had the crew over, including Logan & Emery! We cooked out and it felt like old times! I think everyone was surprised we got through the whole meal without any fussy babies! I think Sara & Julie were pretty happy about that! Good times!

23 Weeks

Time is a flying! I am now 23 Weeks and feeling great! We both feel her moving each and everyday. My Mom thinks she is going to be an athlete because I apparently moved around alot inside of her, but Cindy didn't - haha!

Here are a few thing I found online about week 23...

Your baby is positively HUGE during pregnancy at 23 weeks, a whopping 1 pound (or almost at least!). That is quite an accomplishment for someone that used to weigh less than one ounce. Your baby at 23 weeks is now the size of a small baby doll you might purchase for a little girl. That's pretty impressive considering your baby could fit in the palm of your hand just a few short weeks ago. Your newborn baby is also between 8 and 11 inches long by pregnancy week 23!

Your baby is still making remarkable changes at pregnancy 23 weeks. Her skin is still quite red and heavily wrinkled by the end of pregnancy week 23. Your baby can often hear loud noises in the womb from now and as you continue your pregnancy week by week, so don't be surprised if your baby seems to move around a bit when you are vacuuming or in an environment where loud noises are quite common.

The bones located in your baby's middle ear are starting to form by pregnancy week 23 and your baby is continuing to fill out and look more and more proportional.

Notice the "Baby Bump" tank top! Cindy got me this for Christmas...it is finally starting to fit well, so I had to take a pic for her! Thanks sis!

4 Years and a little R&R

Thursday was our 4th Anniversary - I can't believe how time flies! We are so lucky to have each other and such great friends and family. It's hard to remember back 4 years ago and wonder if we knew we would be expecting our first child by now! We are loving life and can't wait to see where the years will take us!

Here is a self portrait before dinner!

Today, was a BEAUTIFUL day in the neighborhood! We took the boat out for the first time this year and it was just what we needed...a little R&R and Vitamin D!

21 Weeks!

Now that I know how to upload videos...I took a short clip of Ginobili playing in the waves today! He kept trying to bite at the waves...I bet he drank a lot of lake water! We happened to pick the muddiest spot to park the boat too, so lucky for him he got a bath as soon as we got home! Lovely!
