High-Five

Growing Up

Our baby is growing up way too quick! This is definitely my favorite stage so far, I just want time to stand still, yet I am so excited to watch her continue to learn! Here are a few recent cute pics!

Loving tummy time these days!
Already getting Ginobili wrapped around her finger!

Enjoying some vitamin D!

This was at Cindy's house...6-9 month T-shirt that I put on her for the first time, yet it was almost too small! Yikes! It's crazy how every brand of clothes is so different though, she is still wearing many 3-6 months clothes too - I don't get it! :o)

This morning, playing with her soft shapes color book...or chewing on it at least! :o) She does really enjoy me reading to her lately too, it amazing how quickly they learn things.
A few other tid bits...she can now do a high-five and wave hi (yet the wave is typically not up in the air yet...still working on that)!

Happy Valentine's

Our little love...

...wearing her adorable Valentine's outfit from Pappy & Grammy, thanks so much!! She is also chewing on Sophie, her teething toy! She is finally LOVING this giraffe. It was a gift from my friend Brooke and apparently all the rage, rated one of the best teething toys out there! Katelyn didn't show much interest in it though until now and she just loves it!
Such a cutie! Our Valentine!

Here are a few more pictures from our trip to Hobbs too. Drew is such a cute baby. I just love how he is all boy...little muscles to prove it.

Baby Drew & Mommy

Getting some practice for when she has another one!

Drew and Katelyn "playing" together!
We had so much fun in Hobbs and even though it was tough to get there and back with all the snow/fog causing flight cancellations. It all worked out in the end and definitely worth it. We can't wait to see them all again!!

Meeting Baby Drew

Katelyn and I made it to Hobbs on Monday to meet baby Drew! It's amazing how tiny he looks and hard to believe that Katelyn was this small only 6 months ago! Crazy! We are so glad to be here! Here are a few pics of our trip so far!

Drew holding his own paci....he's one smart kiddo already!

Bad Boy, Bad Boy...what 'cha gonna do...

Tattoo'd already...at least they are on his PJ's and for his Mommy :o)

Trying out the bumbo like a big boy!

Aunt Cindy & Katelyn, getting her bottle right before bed, a little sleepy!

My little chunky monkey next to skinny Drew's legs. Too cute!

So alert!

Katelyn hasn't shown too much of an interest in Drew yet. I don't think she really knows what to think of him.

Ciao!

On our way out here we had quite an adventure. We ended up having to stay in Dallas Sunday night because the Lubbock airport completely shut down!! We were so happy to get to see my parents though (although it was very short lived) and I know they were glad to see Katelyn for a few hours!

Professional Pics

On Tuesday we went to get newborn pics done of Drew. We wanted cousin pics of Katelyn and Drew too, but man is it hard to get a 2 week old and a 6 month old to both cooperate at the same time! We had so much fun and a few of them turned out really good. I'll let Cindy decide if she wants to post the pics of Drew and the fam...but I got a few pics of Katelyn done too while Cindy was feeding Drew and think they turned out pretty cute! (I hope this isn't illegal...I just took pics of the proofs online so you can get the idea! :o)

This one is a little scary...it cracks me up! She is one expressive little girl!

Happy Half Birthday!

Today Katelyn turned 6 months old! A whole half a year..wow! She is sitting on her own for minutes at a time, but still a little wobbly! We have also concluded that she is going to be much more verbal than physical. She is loving to experiment with all kinds of new sounds. My favorite is her cute little wimper. She just started that this week and it is adorable and so sweet. We also have started veggies! She has had carrots, sweet potatoes and peas so far. Carrots are okay, but the sweet potatoes and peas she has loved! On Sunday we are headed to Hobbs to meet her new cousin Drew. We are so excited, I just hope she does okay on the flight! We also went to the doctor today for her 6 month well check and she did great. Although her stranger anxiety is in full-force. She does great in big groups, but apparently in small groups if someone holds, touches or coos at her...she gets incredibly sad. In a way, I love it because she cuddles up close to me and it makes me feel so loved! She is now 17 lbs, which puts her in the 72nd percentile for her age. She only gained 1 inch in length, so that puts her at 26.5", which is in the 79th percentile. We are so blessed with our baby girl and look forward to what the rest of this year will bring.

Her hair still isn't quite long enough for these bows, but they stay long enough to catch a quick pic!

I think we may have a future photographer on our hands...she loves the camera!

Happy..even after getting shots at her doctor appointment.

We met my friends Megann & Ashley for lunch today at Mimi's. It was a gross day..rainy, windy and just gross. So when we got home, we got into some snuggly clothes and cuddled up on the couch. Isn't she just adorable!

Happy Half Birthday Baby Girl!!

Just a few other new pictures for you to enjoy!
