FGP Playdate

After many attempts, we finally had a playdate this morning for some of the FGP babies that were born in 2009. It's been hard to get everyone together due to colds, ear infections, etc. We are hoping with the warm weather they will all stay healthy so we can get together more often!
Here's our first picture of the cuties all together:
Jay (9 months), Katelyn (7 months), Lilla (6 months), & A.J. (3 months)...not pictured Janie (we missed you guys and hope you can make it next time). We are hoping that Jase will be able to join us come July/August too :o)

Sunday Funday

Today we celebrated Emery's First Bday! Her party was so much fun! Makes me so excited about Katelyn's, yet we have many many fun months ahead before we get to that point. I'm definitely not ready for her to be a toddler yet, trying to hold on to all her baby fun as long as possible! Here are a few pics of Katelyn at the party, I'm sure Sara will be posting more soon!

She even got a beach ball and bubbles as a party favor - thanks! It provided nice afternoon entertainment!

Overall today was a rainy wet day, Katelyn really enjoyed sitting by the back door and checking it all out. She especially enjoyed licking the cold window!

Out our back door we have a large retention pond. At the end of the week they removed the ugly fence that was beginning to fall and warp and cleared out the entire area. It looks so nice! As we were sitting around this evening...Ginobili started growling out the back door. We looked outside and across the pond we spotted two deer! Apparently they have been living back there, nice and secluded behind the fence. We had seen deer out there before, but not from our back door. Pretty cool!

Poth's Visit

The fam after Church on Sunday!

Katelyn sat in her first highchair at a restaurant...actually 3 different times. She really enjoyed sitting up and looking at all the fun lights and decor at each restaurant! What a big girl!
Getting some love from Pappy!

And more lovin' from Grammy!

On St. Patty's Day we dressed Katelyn (and the rest of us) in Green! Thanks Betsy for the adorable dress!
We had such a great time this week with Lex's parents (Grammy & Pappy)! They came in Saturday night and stayed thru this morning. Katelyn loved getting so much attention all day long! We couldn't contain those smiles! We can tell she misses them and is already getting tired of looking at us all day! :o)
We can't wait to see them again! Thanks for everything, we really enjoyed your visit!

Happy 7 Months

Katelyn is now 7 months old. More than half a year...that is just crazy to me. I try to think back to this time last year and how much our lives have changed. We are so blessed to have such a happy, smart, laid back, yet headstrong...did I say happy...baby girl. She is doing so many new and fun things and we look forward to the months and years ahead.

She loves a good book, especially when it's got pictures of her wonderful family. She sure misses her Daddy!

Snow! We got quite a heavy snow on Tuesday, but it this was all that stuck. Just enough to make everything look a little prettier. Now it's time for warm weather! Bring it on!

Grandma's Visit

My Mom came to stay with Katelyn and I while Lex is in London, we wish she was able to stay longer, but we were so glad she was able to come and visit. We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again. Katelyn just loves her grandma and lit up everytime she would walk in the room! Here are a few pictures of some of the fun we had!

Thanks again G'ma! We miss you!

Couldn't Resist

Lex left to go to London for work on Saturday, so I thought it would only be appropriate to send him off with his baby girl wearing the most adorable British outfit she had...101 Dalmations!
