Happy Halloween

Introducing...Rapunzel....

...and Mr. Sock Monkey!

We've been celebrating Halloween all week, so I was excited to finally get to put up pictures. On Saturday we went to a friend's Halloween party. She went all out with games, crafts, and cool Halloween themed food, even dried ice to make the drinks smokey. Very fun! They have a great basement playroom, so here are some pics of the party/playtime.

On Tuesday, Katelyn's school had their Halloween Parade and Party. Below you'll see a video of her class in the parade and one of the songs they sang to the parents, too cute!

Today we spent the day carving our pumpkin, painting it, making (and smelling) apple cider, and then trick-or-treating with friends. I had just as much fun as the kids did, I think!

Here's the kiddos with their friends Andy (the Ghost) and Emery (the Kitty).

The parents and babies!

Instagram pic of K working on her pumpkin this afternoon! Levi just enjoyed playing with the guts!

Some cute videos too...

First Steps Video

This morning Levi took two steps in a row and my friend, Jasmin, caught it on video! We were at the park getting some pictures made for his first birthday and stayed after to play at the park. I love moments like this, I keep watching it over and over. So thankful that Jasmin thought to bring out her phone camera!

What, I do this all the time...

Today Levi hit a realization that standing without holding on, isn't so bad! We went to a friend's Halloween party this morning, so maybe the distractions around and his costume contributed to this realization, but I am one happy momma. He had begun to let go for a few seconds at a time, but not only did he stand like this for quite a long while, he took ONE step and he stood up 2x this evening in the middle of the living room. He got a little help from a toy RV, but just enough to get some momentum, then he stood on his own. It seems like once K did this, it was about a month and she was walking full-time. Time will tell, he's definitely a different kid in many ways, so we'll see how long it takes. I am ready, for some reason! :)

Oh and here's a little sneak peek of our cute little sock monkey before Halloween :) You'll have to wait for Rapunzel's big debut!!

Random Fun

We've done a lot of fun things in October...here are a few pics...

GE Family Fun Day. A full carnival with games, food and fun - all FREE!

Levi is slightly obsessed with bathrooms, toilets, sinks - I think he just really LOVES playing in water. He's only gotten his hand in the toilet once, luckily. He's quick, I've got to keep my eye on him always!

Spotting Daddy coming in the door after work....big smiles for Daddio!

Perfect Fall day in our backyard!

Katelyn's school had a Fall Festival. It's was super cute and we all had a blast! Complete with a silent auction, cake walk, bounce house, and german food for lunch!

Random sponges, soap and water fun. This kept them busier than I thought!

Instagram fun!

This kiddo loves climbing...anything!

We went to the Prater's for last weekend's Aggie game. This is the only pic I took though. We had a great time and we love how great Katelyn and Andy play together.

Random fun at Cleveland Park.

Sharing Cheerios, love these moments!

K pulled Levi all the way to the park the other day like this. Strong girl!

Sweet baby boy! He loves his blankie, just like Katelyn!

We hit up Chuck E Cheese for the first time this past weekend. We had planned to go to Boo in the Zoo, but the crowd was too over whelming so we went to the park and pizza instead. We all had fun here!

Levi got his very first haircut on Monday too. It's amazing how much she cut off. I knew he was ready for a haircut, but looking at the cuts she made, apparently it was super long! My big boy!
