Drumroll Please.....

The BIG's are getting a LITTLE BRO! My gut was right again! Although, I will admit my gut feeling this time was based on the fact this baby would be closest in age with Levi and therefore, if it were a boy they could share a room one day, making a true guest room in our new house! Haha, but alas, I was right :)

Don't be fooled by the picture above. I staged the kids for a funny announcement picture to put on FB. I was a little worried about Katelyn's reaction when the ultrasound tech said it was a BOY. She had been very adamant on wanting a little sister, but luckily she was just as excited to hear it was a boy! (see bottom picture of her true reaction!)

The ultrasound went great. Both kids got to come and I think they enjoyed it, especially Katelyn. They were very thorough and checked all the organs, etc. and everything looks perfect! Yay for a healthy baby!

We are so excited to complete our family with another little boy!!!

Tomorrow...

Well, tomorrow is going to be a big day for the Poth family!  I am scheduled for an ultrasound to find out the gender of the baby!! Whoo hoo! If we were still in SC, I wouldn't have been able to find out until 20 weeks, so that is a nice surprise! Plus, we are going to be able to bring the kids with us, which my doc in SC would not have allowed.

I don't have quite the gut feeling I did with Katelyn and Levi (which I was right on both :) My gut is leaning more towards another boy for some reason, but really either way boy or girl would be fabulous!

I am 19 weeks currently and time is really flying by. With the move and the holidays, April/May is going to be here way before I know it. By the way, I am hoping this baby comes late April (both others were a week early, so hopefully this one will stick with that trend). Diamonds are a girls best friend...ooo, so maybe this will be a girl!?!? Boy if it waits till May? haha!

Okay. So any guesses?

We're BACK!!

Well, I am finally getting around to blogging. This past month has been a little adventure.

Once we arrived in Texas, we started our house hunt immediately. We were able to find a great house within a week of looking and have a scheduled closing date of December 20th. Woo hoo! So the last week has been a lot of paperwork trying to get everything lined up and ready to close and move in. Our stuff will be arriving on the 21st, so our hope is to at least get unpacked enough to be able to celebrate Christmas in our new home! Our South Carolina home also is under contract. We happened to receive an offer on that the same day we placed an offer on the house here, crazy! God is definitely working :)

Anyways, we were able to spend most of the first week with Grammy & Pappy (Poth Ranch Bonfire pictured above)  and even were able to head to Houston to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family all while looking at houses! We are now "living" in an extended stay type hotel near our new house and just trying to make it feel like home for a few weeks and trying to get to know the area. We have stockings hung on the wall, so it feels a little bit like Christmas around here :)

We look forward to getting settled in and seeing all our family in the San Antonio area and traveling out to see others this Holiday season too!

Calvary Christian Preschool

Katelyn had a great time at her school these last few months. We really hope to find something close by that she can meet some new friends for the remainder of the year. Here are a few pictures of August - November in her K4 class at Calvary.

Fall Fun Day

On her last day of school the teachers had all the kids give her big hugs and pray that she has a good time in her new home in Texas. So sweet...

Bittersweet Goodbye

The Sunday before Thanksgiving, we packed up our minivan and headed to Texas, to stay! Lex got a new job in San Antonio and everything just seemed to fall into place from there. We knew it was the right time for us to make the move back to Texas to be closer to our family. We are so excited to be back (although no where near settled yet), but we had to say goodbye to a lot of great friends. We lived in SC for almost 9 years and loved it! We spent the last week saying goodbye to a lot of great friends and trying to do all our favorite things and eat at our favorite restaurants. We are currently in temporary housing and the internet blocks my iPhone photo transfer, so a lot of my pictures from our last week will have to be uploaded once we are settled in the new house. Here are a few of the things we did and people we saw...

Children's Museum Fun

Our good friends, The Prater's, had a little going away party for us the night before we left...so thankful for this time. Going to miss these guys a lot!

Jasmin and I. She was a part of our playgroup as well and has become friends with The Prater's through their love of horses :)

All the kids (minus baby Colin) - Logan, Ana, Katelyn, Andy & Levi

The last night in her first bedroom. Love this room! Lots of memories!

Levi's last night in his first bedroom. So sweet!

We were also able to each go out to dinner with some of our best friends...my playgroup mom friends, our mutual friends Mel & Laura, my FGP friends for lunch, my MOPS friends, and his works friends. Although we didn't get pictures with everyone, we will miss them all dearly. (I will post those that I have on my phone as soon as I can)!
