I know Levi looks a lot like a mini-Lex, but I've always thought he looked a little like me too. Now I've got proof :) Here is a picture of me as a kid, look at my reflection in the mirror....looks like a little Levi to me ;)

23 Weeks
Well, it's about time I start documenting this baby bump! I am 23 weeks today and time is flying by. Everything is going as smooth as possible though so I am very thankful for that. With the move and the holidays, my belly somehow just popped out without me really noticing. This little man is very active and Lex has even been able to feel him kicking already too. I am starting to get excited about decorating his nursery and leaning towards navy blue and white decor. I've got a doctors appointment coming up Tuesday and scheduled a tour of the hospital for early March. It's definitely getting more real.

Happy New Year!
Well, I am finally back to the blogging world! It's been a crazy, fun, adventurous, stressful, exciting time over the past 6 weeks! Overall though, we've been very lucky that things are going smoothly. We are excited to finally feel like we can relax in our new home a little. All the indoor boxes are unpacked, but there is still a lot of organizing and decorating to do. Overall, we are very happy to have been able to see quite a few of our family and friends over the past few weeks, many of which, we would have not had time to see if we were just here for Christmas.
We are especially looking forward to 2014...we have a lot more exciting times ahead! During prayers last night, I was going through a few things to pray for coming up in 2014, including the new baby and Katelyn starting Kindergarten. Katelyn stopped me mid-prayer and was so thrilled that this year she gets to start Kindergarten. I love that she loves school!
Happy New Year to all!!

Santa Came!!!
Santa found our new house with no problems at all! And brought the kiddos exactly what they wanted, plus a little more it looks like! A bike for Katelyn with a doll seat in the back and an Ariel Dress. Levi was most excited about his fire station, it was the first thing he saw coming down the stairs in the morning! He kept saying Fire Station...over and over!! It was so fun to see them both really get into Christmas this year! And even Elfie Ta Da found our new home and kept the kids (Levi especially) in line! If he was getting whiny, etc. I'd say, don't forget, Elfie Ta Da is watching and he'd get quiet and look around for him and smile! Too cute!
Peeking through the stair rails checking out all their presents!
She's been riding her bike around the house every chance she gets. It's worked out well that we have no living room or dining room furniture yet. Couches have been ordered though, so she's only got a few more weeks! Then it's out to the hilly sidewalks we go....yikes!
They also got an indoor trampoline from Grammy and Pappy and Lex put it together Christmas morning. Again, good thing we don't have any furniture, these kids have the whole downstairs as their personal playground!

Christmas Eve in Pleasanton
We spent Christmas Eve with Grammy and Pappy in Pleasanton. They made an excellent dinner, opened presents, sipped egg nog and made special treats to put out for Santa that night too. Fun times!
Pom Poms!!
Thanks for taking this picture, Pappy. I love it!

Houston Fun
We were able to head over to see my sisters family for Thanksgiving and Christmas, love that they are only a few hours away now. Wish it was even closer, but we can handle a few hours! I have been horrible about taking pictures, so these are all pictures my Mom took.
Traders Village amusement rides, so fun!
I couldn't ride with Katelyn on this one so Aunt Cindy did...she screamed louder than any of the kids! haha!
A little semi-pic of my growing baby belly. I need to take an official belly pic, it's getting pretty big! And he is getting pretty active!!
Christmas Day we opened presents at our new house, then headed over to the Fleharty's for dinner and more presents!
Who has the real 'stache??!

Living It Up
We spent the first week in Texas with Sandra and Fred, which was Thanksgiving and house hunting mania! That week seems to have flown by looking back. After we had a better plan and a house in line, we moved into a corporate extended stay type hotel, Residence Inn. It wasn't too bad, it had 2 full bedrooms and 2 baths, so the kids shared a room and then we had a living/kitchen area that was pretty tiny. The best advantages of living here....daily maid service (including dish washing), daily hot breakfast and coffee I didn't have to make, and Monday-Thursday dinner downstairs too. We were slightly spoiled, although living in tight quarters, it was a fun adventure! It wasn't too hard to keep the kids entertained either....
We even took advantage of the hotel gym...
The first night we stayed there, they hosted a Client Appreciation dinner for all their guests. I was thoroughly impressed...white linen table clothes, waiters walking around with appetizers, catered dinner by Maggiano's, Chuy's, etc, awesome desserts and although I couldn't partake...an open bar. Plus, Santa, his elf and Frosty!
More hotel entertainment.
