Our littlest man turned 4 months old yesterday! He is so easy going, only gets fussy when he's extra tired, but even then he's easy to please! He LOVES his sister so much! And I could swear he can already say "Mama" (not really, but he makes some sounds that sound pretty close to it). He has rolled over from his back to his tummy once and it completely surprised us. He just started playing with his toes, laughs out loud, is starting to enjoy peek-a-boo, plays with his tongue, and is constantly sucking on his fingers. He is not a huge fan of his paci, which I can't decide if that is a good thing or not. I love the immediate soothe of a paci, especially when they are teething or sick through the first few years of life. He also won't take much milk from a bottle. He is a sweetheart and melts my heart every time he smiles!!

Katelyn's First Day of Kindergarten
Yesterday was Katelyn's First Day of Kindergarten!
Looking back, 5 years has gone by so fast! "The days are long, but the years are short."
The first day was a huge success! She came home chanting...Kindergarten Rocks over and over and even had Levi chanting along with her! I have no doubt she is going to Rock Kindergarten!
A couple of stories she came home to share about her day...
1 - She met a "boyfriend" in the cafeteria at lunch. She asked him what class he was in and they were both soo surprised they were in the same class. (they were sitting right next to each other at the table, but didn't recognize each other from class, she thought this was too funny!) His name is Joshua.
2 - On the bus ride home, she met another friend who asked her what grade she is in. She didn't know, so she said 1st. :)
3 - She had to go #2 during class and was taking awhile in the bathroom, so the teacher came in to check on her. She was completely undressed and didn't know what to say when the teacher asked her why she was naked. (She's going to have to change her little 2 pm ritual. I didn't even think about this being an issue. Guess we'll have to work on that :) **I'm sure she'll love that I posted this to our blog in 10 years, sorry kiddo. It was a fun first day memory, I had to post so I wouldn't forget. It's adorable!! :)
She made it home safely on the bus! The bus drops off right at our corner and I am so thankful. She gets out of school during the boys naptime, so this way they can still get good naps and Katelyn can meet some new friends from the neighborhood. She said her favorite part of her school day was riding the bus!
A few questions I asked her to remember this time by:

8. What is your favorite thing to do with Levi? Making forts
9. What is your favorite thing to do with Kyler? Making him smile at me
10. What are you most excited about this year in kindergarten? Riding the bus
11. What are you most nervous about this year in kindergarten? Dancing during gym class
12. What do you want to be when you grow up? an Astronaut
13. What is your favorite movie? Frozen
14. What is your favorite toy/stuffed animal? Elsa/Kiki
15. What is your favorite thing to wear? Frozen T-shirt with my blue skirt
16. Who are you going to marry when you grow up? Miles

Katelyn's FROZEN Bday Party
Meet Elsa...she wanted everyone to think she was the real Elsa for her party day. She asked Mimi months ago if she would make her an Elsa dress and Mimi made this little girls dream come true.
My beautiful girl :)
We played "Frozen Heart" in place of Hot Potato
They kids decorated snowflake cookies, made paper crowns, played Frozen Hide and Seek, and we had stuff to make snow, but didn't end up making it. They had a lot of fun, just playing!
Happy Birthday to you....
Opening presents
Look at the snowflakes on her cape. All hand painted. So special!
Jumped in the trampoline
At VBS in June, Katelyn made a prayer box and inside the prayer she had her VBS leader write was that "Mimi make Elsa dress pretty". haha! She put the pressure on her, that's for sure!
Loved celebrating Katelyn with some of our new and old friends here in San Antonio.
