Happy 1/2 Birthday to our little Pumpkin!

Well, yet again I am amazed at how quickly a month can go by. Our littlest man has been in our little family now for a whole 6 months! And we have been here in Texas for about 11 months, life truly is flying by. The past month, Kyler has started taking at least one long nap per day and a few shorter naps too. He's pretty flexible which is necessary being the 3rd child. He started baby food about 10 days ago and has had sweet potatoes, carrots, and prunes so far. All have been a big hit! He still doesn't really suck his thumb, but does chew on it. His first tooth is starting to make way, but hasn't broken through his gums yet. He can sit alone for quite awhile and moves around in circles on his tummy and rolls both ways to reach his toys. Although he is our 3rd, I am still amazed at how quickly they change. Just trying to soak up his babyhood for as long as possible.

Houston Fun

We went to Houston the past two weekends. Just Kyler and I went for my friend Brooke's baby shower. And then the next weekend we all went to visit some of Lex's friend's from Pleasanton, Brian and Tessa, for their daughters birthday party. It has been so great being able to see old friends and of course family too. My sister and her family have been so nice to let us stay with them and play with them. The kids have been asking to go back every since we left.

Drew is so sweet to Kyler. He just wanted to kiss him all weekend and ride on him....well he never actually tried this, but he told Cindy he wanted too. Haha!!

Love my little nephew, such a sweet boy!

Trying out a group selfie!

Kyler is still pretty unsure about most people, other than me. He has started to let others hold him, including Daddy, thank goodness! It all depends on how long it's been since he ate and slept. :)

I love this pictures. Sweet cousins. It's amazing how quickly they grow in 4 years.

Random Fun

Walking the neighborhood....there are some houses still being built in our neighborhood and a church doing an addition as well. We live on a big rock, so any construction begins with digging out the rock. It's pretty amazing and a long process. They have been working at the church for months and all they have done is make it a little flatter. It's been fun for the kids at least!

Getting our tire fixed was a fun outing for Levi!

Tree climbing. This girl could climb on anything. Our little monkey.

She even made this contraption to climb on in the back of the van.

Levi still loves his balance bike. It's the perfect bike for all the hills we have around here. He's at the top of this driveway in this picture...

Bath time lover! I am dreading the day he outgrows his sink baths. I love this time with him and he does too!

Jenny Jump Up...we finally have a spot in this house where we can hang this up without worrying he will bump the edges of the door and he loved it. Just ignore that it's pink :)

Toes...the best built in toy ever!

Lex took the big kids to a Transportation Museum while I was in Houston for a friend's baby shower. They had a blast!

Funtastic Playland with my boy!

Again...toes, best built in toy!

Rock climbing at Katy Mills....no fear!

All 3 of our babies swinging in the backyard! We are complete.

Star of the Week

Katelyn was Star of the Week at school 2 weeks ago and she was soo excited to make this poster for her class to look at. She was very adamant that this was her project and that I could not help. It was VERY hard for me to just let her do it. I like things organized and well thought out, she had a vision in her head of a big tree and just started scribbling...ahhhh, it drove me crazy...but I learned a lesson, this girl is an artist and did a great job! At our first parent/teacher conference her teacher commented on what a detailed artist she is and I am so proud of her for her creativity and detail. She comes out of her room in the morning or after school some days and can't do anything until she draws the idea she has in her head. I love her mind and all that she has going on in her little head right now. It amazes me!
