Well Checks - Levi (3 yrs) & Kyler (6 months)

I took the boys to their well checks this week and both checked out like strong and growing boys...

Levi @ 3 years:

Weight - 39 1/2" (97%)

Height - 40 1/4" (96%)

Vision - 20/20

Kyler @ 6 months:

Weight  -19 lbs (63%)

Height - 27 3/4" (79%)

Head - 46.3 cm (95%)

The doc estimated Levi to be 6'6"(give or take 4") based on mine and Lex's heights. 

Here is a little Questionnaire I did with Levi to document his cute personality at 3 years old too:

2. What is your favorite toy? helicopter, buses, planes, Kyler's, Myler's, Keepeekelopelola (he loves speaking jibberish to be funny)

3. What is your favorite fruit? grapes, "i have pears & apples and meagees...etc." - more jibberish :)

5. What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? "sandwich and honey and peanut butter and some pears and some yogurt and applesauce"

7. What is your favorite game? Peedie (more jibberish)....puzzles

9. What is your favorite animal? hippos, giraffes, Kyler's (lots of giggles)

12. Who is your best friend? Brayden, Prayden (haha), Nathan, Ben

14. What is your favorite thing to do outside? Swing, I like the play, ride bikes, drive my car

Happy 3rd Birthday, Levi!!

Levi is 3 years old. He is the sweetest, kind hearted, funny, smart, best brother (big and little), imaginative, mechanical, curious, loud, and yet reserved little man that we love sooooo much. He brings so much joy into our lives and we are so thankful! Life has changed a lot for our family since he joined us 3 years ago and we look forward to all the years ahead. 

On Saturday we had a little party for Levi. He wanted everything to be blue, his favorite color, obviously. He had blue wrapping paper, blue toys, blue decorations, blue clothes on, and of course, a blue cake made with blueberries inside and out! He had a dream about a blue cake and was so excited to help me make it! We made it from scratch and it was surprisingly delicious!

Mimi, Pops, Grammy, Pappy, Cindy, Drew, Uncle Bubbie, & Aunt Linda Kay were all able to come over for the party. We were especially excited to have cousin Drew here for the first time!

Presents started first thing in the morning....and continued all day long...

Then we topped the day off with dinner at Chuck E. Cheese! 

A few pictures of Levi the week before he turned 3....here we are playing "camping" in our family room. Tent set up, all essential sleeping items ready to sleep under the stars, camp fire with wooden blocks, and a slinky to represent the fire. We cooked our hot dogs and smores and now it's bedtime. Love his imagination!

He has come so far in Gymboree. It was definitely the right decision to leave MDO and start a Mommy & Me for him this year. He is now participating, dancing, smiling, talking to the teacher, and even letting her put stamps on at the end of class. He has a lot of my personality I think, he is Mr. Talks A Lot at home, but in a new environment needs some time to warm up and be himself. 

Getting a haircut before he turns THREE.

He fell asleep on my bed while I was feeding Kyler one morning. I couldn't bare wake him up, so he took a very early nap that day. When it was true nap time, we went through our normal nap time rituals and I was sick so I took a real nap that day. When I woke up, he was down in my room playing on the floor next to me quietly so he wouldn't wake me up. My sweet boy!
