Recent Happenings

Our snaggletooth happy baby! He now has 2 teeth on the bottom, so I am glad I caught a few pictures of his snaggletooth days. Adorable!

Last weekend we took a day trip a little north to see Lindsay & Greg's new weekend place. Along the way we checked out a state park! It was a beautiful day!

Kids and puddles :)

L & G's newest family members....3 Longhorn cows!

They have an amazing view!

Levi was on his "stage" performing for me!

I see lots of swinging happening here over the years. So fun!

Off roading and construction site viewing....two of Levi's favorite things.

He finally let me put gel in his hair one morning this past week too. It only lasted long enough to take a picture, then he had me wash it out. He's going to be one cute teenager...haha!

First time eating spaghetti!

My sweet babies, sound asleep.

Gymboree boys

Kyler likes to "point" at things and say "tha".... it's like he's asking us "what is that?" It's fun to see the light bulb go off in his head when we answer him and he makes a new connection. They learn so quickly, it's amazing!

This weekend we were supposed to go to Houston for Drew's birthday and another friends 1st birthday, but Kyler has some kind of virus and obviously we didn't want to share his germs. Lex decided to take advantage of the weekend home and start building out our new entertainment built-in. I am so excited! I drew up a design on paper, he drew it up on the computer, and worked out all the details. I am so thankful for a handy hubby!!

First Bubble Bath

This little guy loved his first bubble bath!! Although he is sick, he loved every minute of it. Except when he tried to eat it, yuck :)

Family Fun

Neighborhood Park Fun

Katelyn's Puppet show theater....My mom found a great book with a ton of ideas on how to use cardboard boxes. It's been perfect with all the amazon boxes we have from Christmas. It's fun to see her use her imagination.

Gymboree...Levi is still going to Gymboree and it's been so fun to see him warm up to the teacher and look forward to going every week. They just got a complete overhaul with new equipment. The old style had been around for 20 years or so, he's loving exploring the new gym! Our friend's Paulina & Ben also just joined us for class, so that makes it even more fun!

Can't get much cuter than this!

My boys!
Levi has started entertaining Kyler more and more. He can make him crack up, I love it!

Kyler enjoys bouncing on his new elephant he got from The Poth's for Christmas! Next step...using it as a walker :)

Lex took Levi hunting for the first time this past weekend and they actually got a deer. Levi was excited and unphased by the actually process of the deer dying. He told me matter of fact about how the deer was moving his head around until he died and then Pappy took him on the mule over to another house...etc. etc.. I think he's got a big future of hunting ahead of him. Lex and Pappy are pretty excited about that, I am sure!

The Sandbox

Santa brought Levi a bag of sand and left a note that it was for a sandbox that he and his Daddy could build. So Lex got to work and made this awesome sandbox!! All the kids LOVE it!

Unfortuntately we've only had a few chances to play in it so far, since we took this picture it's been pretty cold and wet. We can't wait to get back out there!!

And one extra bonus picture of our sweet little Ky.

Crawling, Signing, & Self Feeding

Kyler officially started crawling this morning!! He's been up on all 4's moving around a ton for 6 weeks now, so I am so excited he finally got his knees and arms coordinated! It's so fun to watch his excitement too!

He also made his very first baby sign today. We were touring a preschool this morning that hopefully we'll be able to get Levi into for next year, when I noticed he was looking up at the large florescent lights with his arm pointing up at the lights opening and closing his hand. I was so excited I stopped the Director of the school mid-sentence and pointed it out to her too. Smart Boy!

He's also getting pretty good at self feeding. Here he is eating lunch today! (Notice the pink cup...Santa accidentally brought him a pink cup :)

First Tooth

I feel like Kyler has been drooling and such since he was 4 months old, yet his first tooth just popped through! No more gummy smiles around here, so sad! The one right next to this one will probably pop through in another day or two, I can see it under the gums but can't feel it yet.
