Other December Memories

"Elfie Ta-Da, I promise to be a good boy this year."

Santa sent the kids a letter in the mail this year letting them know they were on the nice list....Katelyn was beyond thrilled, as you can tell!

This boy LOVES to "CHEESE" for the camera now!

Selfies by Katelyn

It was unseasonable warm for most of December....tank tops and shorts in the backyard! Crazy! Now it's finally chilly and such a nice break from the heat.

We went to the Zoo for the Christmas Light display, it was beautiful, but there were hardly any animals out.

S'mores were a big hit though!

And I got some cute pics of all 3 looking at the camera!!

Fred's birthday was the 28th, so we were able to go out to dinner to celebrate! So thankful to live close to family and celebrate birthdays on the actual day!

Christmas with our Poth Family

The day after Christmas we headed down to Pleasanton to celebrate with our Poth family. It was such a nice relaxing day filled with excellent Mexican food prepared by Sandra, lots of presents, and fun on the ranch!

Their house was decorated so nicely! Love Sandra's nativity!

Us and the pups just hanging out...

Present time!

Uncle Greg (and Lindsay) got Levi a Lionel Polar Express train! This boy has played non-stop with this thing! He even goes upstairs and plays by himself some now....which he rarely did before!

Shooting a gun for the first time...

Gone fishing!

We were also able to get together with Aunt Peggy and Nikki here at our house one afternoon last week to exchange presents with the kids. We love living close enough to do this now!

Christmas Day

Santa Came!!  These must have been some good behaved kids!!

Kyler got a red hat just like Peedie from his favorite book!! He LOVES this hat!

Rescue Bots

Pigs in a blanket (baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling clothes) and Reindeer Donuts for breakfast!

For lunch my family came over...Lex cooked an awesome stuffed pork loin, twice baked potatoes, and green beans! Yummy! Here's the kids table...

And then us grown ups!

We had a great time eating, opening presents, and just hanging out. Later in the afternoon my Aunt and Uncle Bubbie and cousins Suzanne and Jeremy came over to exchange presents as well. It was such a full and fun day! Our first time to host on Christmas Day!

This boy loves Momma and Daddy's shoes!
