DREW is SIX

My sweet nephew, Drew, is SIX!!

Cindy and Matt had a Sparkabilities party for him and decked the place out in orange and yellow and he loved it! You could tell by his sweet smile how excited he was! We are so glad they live a little closer now so we are able to spend the afternoon with them! Love this little SIX year old!!

COUSINS!!

Kyler loves to clean, so we put him to work!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DREW!!

21 Months!!

This little firecracker is 3 months away from being 2! His language skills are increasing everyday! He's learning new words and putting them together into little sentences. His very FIRST sentence was "I LOVE MAMA!!" Yep...Lex got him saying it while I was out with friends one night and he sent me a video of it! LOVE HIM! Funny thing is now though, that whoever he is with, he will say that he loves the opposite person....i.e. Momma is putting him to bed and I say, I love you Kyler and he replys with "I love Dada"...with a big cheesy grin on. Little Stinker :)

He is definitely an independent little guy. He learned how to open the gate at the TOP of our stairs. I was helping Levi get dressed one morning and when I finished I came out to check on Kyler and he had opened the gate, gone down the stairs, and was playing in the Cozy Coupe downstairs like all was good! He doesn't get frustrated easily when he's trying to do something, he keeps trying until he either does it himself or he really needs help. He prefers to go up and down the stairs by himself and protests if I carry him.

He loves Monkey Lunchbox on my phone now and is getting pretty good at it already after only 2 times playing. He knows his colors, his favorites are "Lello and Bue". He calls Levi "Lala" and Katelyn "sissie". He does so well at MOPS, Sunday School, and at the Y, which after the first year of being completely attached to me, it's been a nice change. He loves to say "Hello" to every random person he sees. He loves stuffed animals and I've even caught him saying, " I love Tia (tiger)" and "I love puppy"...his two favorite stuffies right now..

I am loving this stage of Toddler Hood! Our little "Peedie"f is learning so much!

Family Time

Kyler got a Zoo Membership for Christmas, so we hit up the zoo for the first time in awhile (not including the Christmas trip when the animals were all put up the for the night). The boys really loved it, especially the train ride! They just added Giraffe's, which are one of my favorites!

We also took a day trip a few weeks ago to go hiking at Los Maples State Park. We also piddled around the Frio river, which was beautiful. We look forward to going back when it's warm enough to play in the water. The kiddos had been cooped up in the car for awhile, so they LOVED every minute of running around in the wild....or maybe they were just being WILD :)

Lex took this picture one night when I was out to dinner with some friends. I love it, it's now my wallpaper on my phone!

Kyler has finally begun watching full episodes of cartoons and loves to cuddle with "sissie" while the show is on!

Levi was in time-out, so Kyler decided to make him smile and sit on his lap! So sweet!

Levi was jumping off this rock in our front yard....

...and Kyler was trying to copying his big brother...one foot at a time!

He reached up and grabbed her hand....just because!

Rolly Polly fun!

And castle fun too!

RVing at the RV show!

We also won free tickets to Splashway for this summer...I think it's because we have cute kids!

Magformer Fun

Amazed by the crane!

Me and my boys!

My sweet napping 4 year old! Not sure how much longer this will last, but I am cherishing these moments while I can!

Tae Kwon Do

Katelyn started Tae Kwon Do at the YMCA at the beginning of January. It was all her idea to start, but the first few weeks she was not sure she wanted to continue. Then she started to really love it. She just got her uniform this past week, so I snapped a few pictures of them practicing their Bo Chung form, which is what they need to know to get their yellow belt. I asked her after class this week if she was enjoying it because she wasn't smiling at all during class. Her response was, "Yes, I am just concentrating!"

Grammy got Kit a matching uniform for Christmas!! Too fun!
