We toured a fire station with our MOPS group a few weeks ago and it was fantastic. They showed us where they slept, the kitchen, and of course the garage with all the gear, engines, ambulances, etc. They even let the kids spray the hoses and gave us all a ride on the engine, siren included! My favorite part is when they surprise attacked us and sprayed us with the hose from across the pond. They were so nice and spent a good hour and a half with us. Luckily they didn't get any calls, so they could give us a full tour! So fun!

Tae Kwon Do and Sock Hops
Katelyn's school had a Daddy Daughter Sock Hop and they had a blast! She loved the extra special one on one time with her Daddy, dressing up, and the extra desserts that night the most :)
She had her first belt test at Tae Kwon Do on Tuesday night and she aced it! Only 6 kids in the class did it and we are so proud! It's takes a lot of confidence to stand up there and perform to the whole class and all the parents by yourself. She was quite nervous, but super pumped once it was over!

February
Petting Zoo at our local library. They have an awesome climbing tree behind the library, Katelyn climbed higher than the little boy she was playing with :)
We went to the Zoo on Presidents Day since Katelyn was off of school. Kyler got to take his very first carousel ride :)
Valentines Day Cake, our sweet Valentines and one picture I stole off of Katelyn's teacher's blog. She only posted a few pictures from Valentines and now part of their homework is to go to her blog and comment on the questions she posts. It's great typing practice!
The boys and I just playing during the week....Kyler LOVES to color...give him some paper and markers and he's good for 30 minutes or more! Levi and I had the stomach bug a few Saturdays ago and Kyler just hung out on the ground coloring quietly.
We are loving the hammock that the Poth's passed along to us, the weather has been so nice lately, it's the best way to watch the kids play!!
Pretending to be a stinker....and quickly switching to smiles!! Little Stinker :)
What do you do with empty girl scout cookie boxes....build a tower of course! Life size building blocks :)

Preschool Pics
I am still in love with Levi's Preschool and teacher. They do the best job helping the kids learn through play, it's amazing! And he loves it! Here are a few examples:
Western Rodeo Day....milking cows, horse races, campfires, and a real cowboy showing them how to rope!
Here are lots of old pictures that I copied from his teachers blog....they delivered canned foods to the church Manna House one day...
Had a pajama and teddy bear picnic....
They do science experiments...here they are experimenting with how to melt a candy cane.
She sets up lots of dramatic play scenes for them too. Here is a Chinese restaurant for them to make believe with, a hot chocolate bar, a hair salon, baking cookies....so fun!
Playing Letter Bingo
Chapel Time and Learning Bible Stories
Practicing Brushing and Flossing Teeth with Legos...GENIUS!
Painting like Michelangelo
Each Mom volunteers to help plan two parties throughout the year. So I was able to help with Valentines with two other mommas. It turned out pretty cute...My parts were the craft and game....Pin the Lips on Mrs. April and making a Bee Valentine. It was fun using my new Cricut that I got for Christmas!
