KYLER is TWO!

Kyler is officially TWO! It's so hard to believe! Two years have flown by and our lives have been forever changed by this sweet boy! We love him more than he will ever know and are so thankful that he is our baby and will always be our baby boy!

He is starting to talk more and more....I've heard up to a 4 word sentence, although he still needs to be reminded to use his words often and will point and grunt at things some too. He has started to sing his ABC's, count, and sings along to "Jesus Loves Me" which is the song we sing every night before bed and at naptime. If you ask him if he is a baby, he responds with a very convincing "NO!" and a big smile! He can run pretty fast, jumps fairly well, loves to color and paint, climbing ladders (although Mommy is not quite ready to let him do this solo), and plays independently often.  He's independent and happy. All of his teachers from Sunday School and MOPS rave about how sweet he is. His MOPS teachers begged me to sign him up for her MDO class in the Fall because she is going to miss being his teacher so much. These comments make me so happy. I love that he is such a sweetie when I am not around.

We went to the doctor yesterday and he measured at 35" tall (50%) and 33 lbs (95%)....if the rule of doubling your height at 2 years old holds true, he will be around 5'10" (give or take 4"). Katelyn was estimated at 6' and Levi at 6'6"....He may be our shortest, we'll see!

We love this boy so much! Happy 2nd Birthday, Kyler Alexander Poth!

We celebrated with a puppy party on Sunday with our immediate family and Chuck E. Cheese on his actual birthday!

Last night as a ONE year old....tear!

Good Morning Birthday Boy....he loves his new swimming pool!

April Randomness

I love eating lunch on the back deck with these boys.....watermelon for the win this day!

Katelyn's school has an annual "Barn Dance"....the kids practice class dance routines and perform casually during the event, then they have face painting, a silent auction (our class did a Lego Theme basket that went for well over $400), bounce houses, food trucks, etc), such a fun night!

Kyler woke up from his nap one day and we snuggled after...but he ended up falling right back to sleep. I know these days are numbered, so I had to snap a pic. I am going to miss these snuggles as my last baby grows up!

Our Lil' Ninja Warriors blisters.....she kept going back for more climbing even after all these blisters, she loves it so!

When you wake up early on a Saturday and Daddy needs to run an errand....you get a Donuts with Daddy date!

Lindsay came to visit and we finally explored The Pearl and ate at LaGloria....so yummy!

This boy LOVES his bike!! And is doing so well!

Girl Scout fun....bird nests out of a paper bag!

Another fun "quiet time" creation....she really gets time to use her imagination during quiet time!

Riding the gates at the ranch.....Pappy's idea to let the kids ride the gates as they swung open...."better than a roller coaster!" haha

The boys and I headed to the Zoo....and of course they talked me into riding the Choo Choo!

....but luckily they enjoyed helping me clean the grout as my reward! haha!

We love that the weather is warm enough to play with water again...but the neighborhood pool is still too cold to swim in! We are ready!!

Having two older siblings has made this boy very interested in using the potty.....here he is getting cheers for going #1 and #2 for the first time!! Woo Hoo!

Teaching Katelyn how to take a selfie in the mirror..haha!

1st grade "Town Meeting"....each of the first grade classes performed a song for the entire school one morning....Katelyn is on the bottom row 5 from the left.

3 forward facing kiddos!!
