Visit with Mimi and Pops

We headed up to visit my parents for a few days in Carrollton and then on to Holly Lake Ranch over the Forth of July. And had a great time and made lots of great memories!

We did a little fishing....

Had some of Pops' famous waffles...

Went to their favorite splash pad...

Pops or Katelyn?? She snuck into his closet and dressed up as Pops to surprise us all....and it worked, haha!!

"Katelyn's Tree"...she claimed this tree as hers and she wanted to be served all her meals here. She sat and read books for a long while and did not want to come down. Love this little tree climber.

And Levi was the only one who played in the sprinklers, he ran and ran and ran!! Love these pictures my Mom took!!

Paddleboating

4th of July festivities...Fireworks...

and a golf cart parade with a hot dog lunch to follow. So fun!!

We were also able to visit with Granny while we were in town. She even made them a new toy to play with before we got there. I love this picture!! 

We had such a great time and can't wait to go back!

Bible Club

Our church runs Bible Clubs (kind of like VBS) all over San Antonio in the backyards of the church members homes. The goal is to invite your neighborhood kids to learn about Jesus. I volunteered to help at one in the neighborhood across the street from ours and we all had a great time. The kids made some great new friends and of course loved learning more about Jesus. 

Can't wait for next years Bible Club!

Cousin Camp

The kids (and I) stayed at Cindy's for a couple of nights and had "Cousin Camp"!! Cindy had them make a camp fire and then surprised them with smores!! haha! She's always got the best ideas!

We also hit up the Thinkery (Austin's Children's Museum), which they loved!

And went to her neighborhood pool water park....really wish we had one like this at our neighborhood! Guess we need to go back to visit soon :)

And then she sent these two to a DESSERTed island....haha! See, I said she always has the best ideas :)

They also have the best swings in town....so fun!
