Poth House

We have officially begun construction on Lex's grandparents house in Poth, TX!

We purchased the land a few months ago, but we are finally getting things moving and plan to renovate the house with the hopes of moving there this summer! The kids had a blast helping us demo some of the interior walls! We are so excited and look forward to living the country life! I'll post lots of before and after pics as we go!

Natural Bridge Caverns

3rd Grade took a field trip to Natural Bridge Caverns and I was able to go with them, thanks to Mimi & Pops! Katelyn and I love one on one time and it's always fun to see her have fun with her friends!

Levi and Mommy...Sweetest boy and his night night!

He loves styling his own hair.

Kyler helped me make some Valentine treats.

Kinetic Kids sponsored Disability Day at school. The kids were able to try to play sports, etc. and learn a little bit about what it's like to have a disability. Thanks Tracey for the pic!

First Season of Volleyball

Katelyn just finished her first season of volleyball! I loved so much of it, obviously! And she improved so much over the 6 weeks, it was so fun to watch! She played on a team with her friends Ava, Alyssa, Isabelle, Sophia, and Alex from school. And she can't wait to play again...yay! (me too!)

Preschool

Kyler has been having lots of fun at preschool .....Trick Roper cam and taught them how to rope a cow...er, their friends :) They also had a Rodeo day at school where they all wore their cowboy gear, ate a wagon ride lunch, and learned all about what it's like to be a cowboy. The rest of the pictures are from his teachers blog showing all the fun experiments, games, etc. that they do with him!

Self Portrait.....3 year olds are the best!

He's given up him nap (mostly) but every now and then he'll fall asleep during quiet time. Sleeping kiddos are so sweet.

Girl Scouts

This girl rocked selling Girl Scout cookies again this year. It was also their first year to do a booth at HEB and they had a blast, two days back to back for two hours each. They really got into it singing songs and wanted to make the change all by themselves this year. They celebrated by working on their painting patch at Painting with a Twist....all their creations turned out so good.

Daddy/Daughter & Mother/Son Dances

A few weeks ago Lex and Katelyn went on the annual Daddy / Daughter Dance at school. This year it was a Cowboy theme, so that was easy to dress for here in Texas! They went to dinner at Olive Garden for their fancy before party dinner and then had a blast at the dance. From what I heard they pretty much did flip tricks the entire time. So glad our little school does this for the kiddos and the parents, lots of memories made, for sure!

Then it was Levi and I's turn! This was our first year to go since he's in Kinder now. He wanted shrimp for his fancy dinner, so we went to Sea Island Shrimp House and then off the dance the night away. He was a little nervous before we got there, just not knowing what to expect, but man, once we got there he was a dancing maniac!! I have a ton of cute videos of him just having a blast dancing away, it was the best!!
