Happy New Year

On New Years Eve we baked our "Happy Birthday Jesus" cake that Grace Bible gave us to help celebrate Jesus' birthday. We put all the candles we have on it since Jesus was born a long time ago!

And that night we all had some sparkly and toasted to the new year. We have gone to the Smith's house for New Years the last few years, but Pamela had to work this year so we went to their house a few nights before New Year's Eve, so we had a quiet night at home. Put the kids to bed at a decent hour and told them we'd see them next year :)

The rest of the Kilgore fam partying it up at Cindy's.....LOL!

2019 was a great year! We look forward to what all is in store for us in 2020!

Cheers to a New Year! (And a new decade!)

Poth Family Fun

Christmas morning Pappy & Lindsay came over. We opened lots more presents, ate King Ranch chicken & beans, and spent most of the day assembling and playing with all our new stuff. Such a perfect day! The kids spent most of their day in their Christmas jammies!

Pappy opening his presents!

A trampoline from Pappy! They are thrilled!

And more Super Mario Brothers!

New art supplies = new creations!

A few days later, we headed down to Kings Inn for Pappy's 75th Birthday! What a treat! Shrimp and Broiled Drum galore!

After, we spent a little time at the nearby park, pier and beach area. I love the ocean! I played with a few of the pics and enhanced the colors....it was not this beautiful in person. LOL!

Love spending time with family and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Happy Birthday Pappy!

SANTA CAME

Wow, these kids must have been good this year, because they got so much stuff this year! Love them!

Yep...He's on the NICE list!

"This guy is on the nice list" too :)

Kyler asked for 800 packs of Hot Cocoa....so since that's too much sugar for one little boy, Santa brought him 20 packs of flavored hot cocoa! He also asked for Santa's actual magic....so Santa brought him his Santa hat and when Kyler is wearing it and says HO, HO, HO....he sounds just like Santa! It's magical!

The excitement is real over here!!!

Levi asked for a Playmobil Yacht and a Lego racing set and Santa came through! So excited!

Katelyn got a Playmobil Bridal Salon and they all got swim flippers from Santa too (which Levi had asked for...luckily Santa realized if one kid had some, the others probably would want them too). She also got the Gregor the Overlander book series, games, and clothes.

And Lex is most excited about the NEW vintage Nintendo system we got for the KIDS.....LOL! Lex has already beat Super Mario brothers and is teaching the kids all he knows. It's been super fun! And they are learning about how to handle their frustration! LOL :)

Christmas Eve

Kilgore Family Christmas at Cindy & Drew's on Christmas Eve!

They were a little dramatic.....LOL. Every present they opened they screamed! Y'all did good family, they loved it all. Thank you!

Thank y'all! We love you! After Cindy's house we headed straight to church for the Christmas Eve service and then home for our "Journey to the Manger" dinner. This is our favorite tradition, we look forward to this night every year!

And then to end the night, we put out milk and cookies for Santa, carrots for the reindeer, and sprinkled some reindeer food in the yard. Read the Christmas story and the night before Christmas.....then to all a good night :)
