Happy 7th Birthday, Kyler!!

This little one is growing up too fast! He loves everything Harry Potter, Pokemon, Super Mario Brothers, Legos, chapter books, digging mud holes, riding bikes, playing school, and pretty much everything! He really loves playing, has such a big imagination and has lots of little friends at school. We just love watching him learn and grow! We love you sweet boy!

We spread his birthday out a bit this year and opened presents all week long....first with Pappy & Lindsay!

Then with Mimi & Pops, and Cindy & Drew (in spirit)!

Then on the morning of his birthday, he woke up super early for his birthday scavenger hunt. It was extra special this year because our power was out from a big storm that came through Poth, so he had to do the scavenger hunt by candlelight! Katelyn spent lots of time creating clues and puzzles and he loved it!

Because of the power outage, the kids had a two hour delay for school. So we had donuts by candlelight and had a chance to play with his toys before heading off to celebrate at school!

He got too many fun things....one being these roller skates. He had seen some when we were out shopping for baseball gear earlier in the spring, so I surprised him with some. He's really learning quickly! He got lots of Legos, books, craft supplies, etc. He's one lucky 7 year old!

Muster 2021

This year on Muster, Mom and Dad, were able to attend Muster for Uncle Bubbie up near Leander. Suzanne and Linda Kay also were able to attend for him in San Antonio. With COVID attendance was limited, but I really wish we could have been there too.  Here are a few pictures Suzanne posted on Facebook, that I saved as well.

We miss you!

Little League

Kyler's playing coach pitch this year and Levi's playing Minors. They both have improved so much over the last few months! They are so fun to watch! And Lex is really enjoying coaching Levi's team!

This was after Levi's first win.....they have been winning quite a bit since! It sure make it more fun! He's scored quite a few runs too!

Kyler got his first hit two games ago and then got two hits in the next game. His coaches were so excited for him, they gave him the game ball. It's so much fun to watch when he's having fun!

April Fun

Katelyn and I took a girls trip to DFW last weekend to celebrate Ali's new baby boy! We loved going to the shower and seeing our Kilgore fam! We also got a chance to do some shopping and have a nice dinner at Olive Garden! We love a little Mommy/Daughter time!

Levi's Solar System mobile for school.

Our last picture of sweet Rose. The next day we got word that she had been hit on the highway and didn't make it. We miss her so much, especially Levi and Lex. They loved this sweet dog so much!

Kyler just reading his book for homework....LOL

We planted some bushes along the fence line at the end of March with hopes of them growing and giving us a little privacy when we have a pool. We chose the Wax Leaf Ligustrum, we just hope they stay alive! So far so good!

My pretty girl!

She took a picture of me driving on our way to gymnastics. This is the view they get of me a lot, I guess. Always driving :)

We've played a lot of checkers lately. We're pretty evenly matched these days, but she's getting better each day!

Before Easter, we discovered that our deep freeze had been turned off by accident for a few days, so we had all our deer meat to cook ASAP! We ate lots of meatloaf and chili!

Crawfish Boil at the Nichols....always a fun time!

Katelyn's Earth's layers project for school. She chose to decorate a cookie cake (so she could eat it after...LOL)

16th Anniversary Play Day

We decided to celebrate our anniversary as a family in Fredricksburg. We grabbed some picnic supplies in town and then headed to Enchanted Rock for the morning.

It was super windy, but leave it to Lex to find a break in the wind in this crack on the top! LOL!

Lex tried to find a "short cut" down to the trail......

Needless to say after some slippery spots, we turned around and back a safer route!

Whew, we made it down without a scrape this time! The last two times we went at least one of the kiddos got hurt.....they're growing up!

And this lunch was delish! Highly recommend the Fredrick Farms mustards!

We snapped a quick bluebonnet pic before heading into town.

We did a little shopping and we stopped at Luckenbach and listened to some live music.

And toured around town visiting some historical sites too.

We stopped in San Antonio at Two Steppi for some delish Italian food as well. We had a great fun family day. Can't believe we've been married 16 years already. Time flies when you're having fun!
