Katelyn & Levi are both playing basketball right now. Their learning so much and really enjoying playing in the driveway too. It's fun to have a sport they both enjoy! Kyler is even getting into it a bit, although wasn't interested in playing on a team this year!

Wilson County Baked Food Show
Levi signed up to compete in the Baked Food Show this year through FFA. He has always enjoyed cooking so we thought this would be a fun way to try out FFA. He'd love to do the shooting competition, welding, robotics, even maybe show an animal one day! So this was our first attempt at anything FFA. He chose to make a Chocolate Caramel Turtle Bar and it turned out great!
He didn't end up placing, but did receive a blue ribbon and some sweet comments on his scorecard!
Great job Levi! I look forward to what you chose to enter next year in FFA!

2022 - Starting it off right!
New Years Day! Lots of fun with friends and family! Plus, of course our traditional black eyed peas, ham, & collard greens! Gotta get our "good luck" in for the year!
The Smith's took us out on their boat in the bay at Rockport. It was a beautiful day to be on the water. Sunny & warm! The kids each caught a little fish, we searched for seashells, and just had a great time!
The kids didn't have to go back to school until January 10th, so we had a lot more fun at home and around town!
Including loosing teeth....this smile makes me so happy!
Soaking up the sun....while blogging! :)
And birthday sleepovers with friends!
We had a great break from school & work.....once school started back up, it got super busy again! UIL Art Smart, UIL Creative Writing, basketball games, cross country practices, homework, etc! They love it all, but it definitely keeps us "too" busy!

End of 2021
We enjoyed the last week of 2021 with lots of family time. We played all our new games, did puzzles, went swimming (well the kids jumped in briefly on a dare), played outside, built Adirondack chairs, went shopping, and bought wood to start the fence! It was a great week!
Lex made two of these chairs for his Dad and while we were enjoying them on our back porch, we decided we need some too! So he spent his week off of work, making some for us too!
New Years Eve, we headed down to Rockport to spend the night with the Smith's. We played cards, the kids rode bikes all over their neighborhood, and we actually stayed up until midnight! We loved ringing in the New Year with this crew!
We are looking forward to 2022 and all that God has planned!
