Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Lindsay's house again this year. Delicious food & great family made for a great time. We have so much to be thankful for!

On our drive up, we passed these pumpkins around the car and each wrote something we were thankful for, then passed it to the next person. We all loved this and it got us thinking about how blessed we truly are. This may need to become our new tradition!!

Levi is taking our picture here with his new drone, Lindsay gave him for his birthday!

We missed Cindy & Drew - this year Cindy's birthday fell on Thanksgiving day - we facetimed while we were at Lindsay's and I took a screenshot of our facetime, but it didn't get us in the photo, boo! Not sure why?? Anyways...we wish they could have been with us, so here's a the photo of our facetime for memories :)

November Fun

PEF Gala

Pam and I had the same dress on...hers was blue and mine was black! LOL

We set up the Christmas decorations the weekend before Thanksgiving again this year. We love getting ready a little early. The kids had the whole week off of school, so we really geared for Christmas! We started shopping, making Santa lists, etc! It was a great time!

You can't set up Christmas without Eggnog!!

K loves her a good pampering night...sheet masks are her fav!

And Ky loves a good book, even while lounging on the kitchen island!

Elfie Tada is back!!! He brough donuts and said "Donut you know, I'm back!!!", then the next day he was in the bathroom.....guess he ate too many donuts!

We saw Santa this past weekend in San Antonio. We were invited up to Ice Skate and meet Santa by the realtor that helped us sell our SA house. They had a donut bar, hot cocoa, & kolaches for the kiddos. I can't wait to see their Santa picture :) Kyler asked for a Nintendo Switch, Levi asked for walkie talkies, and Katelyn asked him to surprise her :)

This was Kyler's first time trying to ice skate. He did so well. And Katelyn was so sweet to help him out. They started on the wall, holding hands. And by the end he was skating by himself! Levi did so well too! He's more like me though and stayed connected to the wall at all times!

We also went and saw the Pleasanton Lighted Christmas parade. They do a great job! And the kids all got reindeer noses, aren't they cute!

Check out this stud's new work photos! Looking sharp :)

Levi's 11th Birthay

Wow, Levi is 11! This boy has the sweetest heart. He has the most generous, empathetic, caring, loving soul you could imagine. He makes us laugh daily and roll our eyes a lot :) He loves his family BIG, he has a blast with his friends, loves learning about how things work, tinkering with electronic & mechanical things, practicing his shooting skills, and playing team sports! He's always up for running an errand with me, doesn't enjoy homework (but gets straight A's), and is willing to help around the house without me asking him too (not always, but sometimes :)!

We are so proud to call him our son and love watching him grow up! Time, please slow down! We love you, Levi!

His big gift this year was a semi-automatic pellet gun.

Katelyn made him a basket of goodies...candy & slim jims mostly!

Kyler had the flu on the morning of Levi's birthday, but was able to wake up early to watch Levi open presents. Kyler sewed Levi this A&M football pillow. :)

Kolaches and chocolate milk for the birthday boy!

He had a sleepover with his besties to celebrate as well. They played nerf gun wars, laser gun wars, cooked smores, and stayed up way too late watching movies, playing Nintendo, and jumping on the bed :) He had the best time!

Matthew & Kathryn's Wedding

I was able to talk everyone into taking some family pictures before Matthew & Kathryn's wedding down by the water on the Riverwalk. I had brought my tripod so we could get a family picture, but luckily just as I was about to set it up, a nice lady walking by offered to take it for us. It turns out she takes family pictures as a side business, so they turned out so great!

After our quick photo shoot, we headed over to the church. Their wedding and reception was absolutely beautiful!

Congrats to the Doherty's! Thank you for including us in your special day! We wish y'all a lifetime of happiness!
