Easter

 He is Risen!

The men were there too, but just didn't get pictured. Lex was busy smoking us some delicious fish and watching the Masters! We did get a family pic at church, but they haven't posted it on FB yet, so I guess I should have had one taken with my camera too, glad we got these though. It's rare we all dress up cute on the same day :) Thankful for family to celebrate with and praying big for Drew and Cindy, who we missed big time!

Be careful kids, Easter Egg Hunting at our house can be dangerous :)

Katelyn Lately

Poth Club Vball Team

It's been fun watching them get better each tournament!  They even won their first game at their last tourney. Which competing against other teams that had to tryout, paying bookoo's of money, and that have been practicing 2x a week since November, is really pretty great! Love that they have a low key club team to keep these girls playing in the spring! 

 

UIL Awards Ceremony:

4th Place in Ready Writing

1st Place in One Act Play

and Honorable Mention for Supporting Actor in One Act Play

Love that she tries and succeeds in so much! 

And in other big news....she made VARSITY cheerleader for next year's PHS cheer squad! What a fun HS experience she is going to have!! 

Honor Society Induction night...she was inducted last year, but all members attend to welcome the new inductees! 

 

Kyler Lately

Kyler working on a new game he's creating in Scratch! He loves learning new things and has taught himself how to use the Scratch program to code. Pretty impressive.

2nd & 3rd Grade GT Kiddos! They had to research and compare two different animals and predict who would win if they were to get into a fight. Love that he enjoys projects like this!

Over spring break, we worked on creating a solar system that was due at the end of March. He made paper-mache planets, painted them, glued them to a poster board and decided to add an asteroid belt using some rocks from the backyard. It's now proudly hanging in his room! Love getting crafty with the kids!

 

Levi Lately

Levi started his Major League Baseball season this year and is really doing well! They won their last game against Floresville 18-6

Lex is his coach again this year and serves on the Little League board. 

Mimi took a few fun pictures of him at his first game too...

Levi's not in this, but that's his teammate Hayden with the ball in his glove getting the Falls City kid out! Such a cool shot!

Levi is also in NEHS again this year and attended the induction ceremony for the new inductees! We're so proud kiddo, keep up the hard work! He also gets to go to iFly for a field trip with NEHS, he's so excited!

The 5th grade boys in NEHS
