Kyler Lately

Kyler has been busy continuing with piano lessons and starting the trumpet in the 6th grade band! He's loving it and is already sounding really good! They had their first chair test and he tied for 1st chair with Kaylee Holloway! They have a fun friendly competition going!

He spent a lot of time reorganizing his lego closet and made a whole new Harry Potter world! He has a scene from each book represented!

Game Night with these two....Catan is one of our favs! Kyler won once and Katelyn won the other, I am not nearly as competitive as they are!

We've had some fun trying some of the foods Kyler is sensitive too to see if he still reacts....He was loving this shrimp, it's been awhile since he's had shrimp. Unfortunately we couldn't tell 100% if he was reacting (getting eczema) from it, so we decided to wait a while and try it again in 2 months or so. It's gotten hard to figure out if he reacts or not, so we're taking it slow! He's till one committed kid with so much will power! It really is so impressive! He's determined to fix his gut and come out of this being able to eat all the things again!! We are so proud of his self control!!

Happy Birthday to Me!

45 years old, I don't feel that old, haha!

I am so thankful for our family and that I am able to support them and cheer for them all along the way! Feeling very blessed and trying to enjoy each stage because it's all going by so fast!

Lex made this delicious dinner, so yummy!! And I got some new cooking supplies too, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen these days!! And have used both these pans a lot lately!!

And the homemade cards are still my favorite :)

Last minute I went to the Athletic Booster Bingo night and had a great time. Nash gave me his ticket because he didn't want to go! Thanks Nash!

My vinncas are still going so well by the pool this year! I finally found a flower that is a plant it and forget it flower that looks beautiful in the hot summer and now even in the cooler fall. Love them!

I made my own hamburger buns, both regular and gluten free for Kyler. They were a little small in diameter and tall, but they tasted great!! I've been having fun trying new experiments in the kitchen lately!

Here's to another 45!
