Yee Haw! Texas here we come...

We are headed to Texas in less than 48 hours!!! Woo Hoo!! We are so excited to be visiting and getting some time off of work! I thought I would post our plans so that we can try to meet up with as many people as we can while we are there...

Saturday- Sept 2 - Arrive in Dallas
Tuesday - Sept 5 - Head to Austin for dinner
Tuesday night - Sept 5 - Continue on to Pleasanton
Friday - Sept 8 - To Houston
Sunday - Sept 10 - Leave for South Carolina

I know we have made tenative plans with some of you guys to meet up, but if you aren't busy and want to say hello, we would love to try to arrange something when we are in your part of the state!! Just give me a call!

Blueberry Picking

Yesterday we went blueberry picking with the Glenn's! They go up to North Carolina every year so this year we decided to tag along. Here are a few pics to show the "fruits of our labor"! If you have any great recipes for blueberries, please pass them along!

Congratulations Benji!!!

We loved "So You Think You Can Dance"...and sooo excited that Benji won! He was our favorite by far!!! Was anyone else addicted? And if so...was Benji your pick? I wanna see answers :o)

I don't wanna grow up...

...cause baby if I did, I wouldn't be a Toys R Us Kid!!!

We got bicyles!!!! We have been watching the Dog Whisperer a lot lately and inspired by his dog psychology we purchased bikes to run Ginobili around the neighborhood with! So far so good! He is pooped by the time we are done and seems to have a bigger appetite too! The only downside is that his poor paws are feeling the pain, he tore up his front two paws running on the pavement. It doesn't seem to phase him too bad though, he is always excited to get back out there the next day and run some more!

Maybe one day we'll do some mountain biking too, but for now it's just round and round the neighborhood! We really enjoy it and it gives us some good exercise too!

Carrowinds

This was the best ride EVER! From the ground you can shoot water on the people on the roller coaster and the people in the coaster each have a level that they can pull that drops a whole bucket of water on whoever is on the ground! It was so much fun! And we got soaked!!!These two pics show how Chris and I got soaked AGAIN on the boat ride! Lex didn't go on this one - he was afraid he'd get too wet :o)


Sunday we went to Carrowind's (an amusement park in Charlotte, NC) on GE. Basically we got in for about 40 bucks total for the whole day - parking, tickets, food, drinks, etc! We calculated it out and realized if we had gone on our own it would have cost us $180.00! Thanks GE!
