Blueberry Picking

Yesterday we went blueberry picking with the Glenn's! They go up to North Carolina every year so this year we decided to tag along. Here are a few pics to show the "fruits of our labor"! If you have any great recipes for blueberries, please pass them along!

Yummy! I am so envious!!! You can never beat a really good blueberry pancake. Also a good summer salad...spinach leaves (or your choice for lettuce), feta cheese, blueberries, raspberries or sliced strawberries, and a good balsamic vinagrette. I also like fried chow mein noodles or toasted slivered almonds for some added crunch. :)

Wow, I am getting hungry!! I am sure that you will enjoy all the bueberries...Things always taste better when you have a hand in getting them to the table.

Looks like a super fun time for you 2 + Ginobili too! I would suggest my absolutely favorite website for ideas on recipes: www.allrecipes.com Use "blueberries" in the search blank and it brings up nearly 250 recipes. The ones with 5 stars are rated the best. There are recipes for muffins, cobblers, salads, waffles, pancakes, and a ton more good sounding stuff....I know you will have a ton-o-fun! Mama Poth

It looks like great fun was had. I know you both are enjoying the "fruit" of the experience. Gino looks like he was enjoying himself too. All of us parents, here and in Dallas and Pleasanton are getting excited about your swing through Texas. Let us know if there are special things you would like to do when you visit.
