Get excited!

So we haven't done anything too exciting these past few weeks, but we have some fun stuff coming up, so hopefully I'll have some good posts coming your way...

  • It's almost time for Blueberry Picking again
  • We may be going white water rafting sometime in August as well
  • We have plane tickets bought and our plans are set..we are headed to the first Aggie game of the season over Labor Day! We're coming through Dallas too! It's going to be a quick trip, but if anyone wants to catch up in Dallas or College Station, let me know!
  • Hopefully we'll finish re-doing our backyard...including an expanded patio, new sprinkler system Lex just put in and the next step is to sod!! I can't wait!
  • With a new and improved backyard, we're hoping to have a good BBQ Party!
  • Lots of birthdays through August and September....so that means some good shopping!
  • And of course I am counting down the days until our trip to Costa Rica in October!!!
  • Late October, I may get to come to the San Antonio area for a work conference, but we're still waiting on approval! (Cross your fingers on that one)

Well, that's about all I can think of right now, but I am getting excited just thinking about all the fun stuff coming up!

Tuesday Night, I got free tickets from work to see Little Big Town. It was a pretty good concert. They had it at our Greenville Drive Baseball Stadium. We only knew a few of their songs, but it was pretty fun to go to a concert. The last time we went to a concert in Greenville, we went to see Pat Green and Kenny Chesney and no one knew any of the words to Pat Green's songs. I guess he is truly "Texas Country".

For the Fourth of July, we headed out to Lake Russell for a day of relaxation. Luckily, our great friends Ryan and Sara, let us borrow their boat for the day while they were on vacation. We found a private "beach" to make camp and we cooked shish kabobs and the boys had some big ribeyes!

Here's the crew cooking up a storm and catching some rays!

Julie and I parked ourselves in the water and read!

Here is Lex all giddy about his big steak. They were determined to each eat the whole thing! I think his was probably a 20 oz. Crazy boys!

Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July!!!
