Tuesday Night, I got free tickets from work to see Little Big Town. It was a pretty good concert. They had it at our Greenville Drive Baseball Stadium. We only knew a few of their songs, but it was pretty fun to go to a concert. The last time we went to a concert in Greenville, we went to see Pat Green and Kenny Chesney and no one knew any of the words to Pat Green's songs. I guess he is truly "Texas Country".

For the Fourth of July, we headed out to Lake Russell for a day of relaxation. Luckily, our great friends Ryan and Sara, let us borrow their boat for the day while they were on vacation. We found a private "beach" to make camp and we cooked shish kabobs and the boys had some big ribeyes!

Here's the crew cooking up a storm and catching some rays!

Julie and I parked ourselves in the water and read!

Here is Lex all giddy about his big steak. They were determined to each eat the whole thing! I think his was probably a 20 oz. Crazy boys!

Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July!!!

What great friends to let you borrow their boat...that's so awesome! Glad ya'll had such a good time. We didn't do much because of all the rain & flooding, so they rescheduled the fireworks for Saturday. I guess it will be a Happy 7th of July for us.;) I only know a couple of songs that Little Big Town sings too, but I love them both...I bet that was lots of fun!
