Logan Anthony Ciomperlik

Well, Julie & Clayton had their sweet baby boy on Tuesday! He is a healthy 9 lb. 7 oz. baby with lots of love and cuddles to go around. We went to visit them in the hospital on Wednesday night and he was absolutely the best baby I have ever been around. So cute and easy going. We are so happy for the Ciomperlik's and can't wait to watch little Logan grow up! Here are a few pics for you to enjoy:

Updates

Well, I am now 10 weeks and a few days! We have our 12 week appointment on the 28th and I will hopefully feel much better by then and we should be in the clear as well! We are gradually starting to think about baby names and all the fun stuff that we get to buy over the next 7-8 months! We are even contemplating a new car...who know's for sure!!? It would be nice to have room to drive back to Texas with our new baby, Ginobili and all our luggage! We'll see though! I did add a Baby Ticker to the blog (it will keep you updated with the babies growth on a daily basis). I can't seem to figure out a way for it to be at the top of the page, so you will have to scroll down for now to see how our baby is growing...if you are curious! And if you know how I can get to be at the top of the page..I'm open for suggestions!

In other news...be expecting some Baby Ciomperlik pictures very soon! Our neighbors Julie & Clayton are being induced tomorrow morning, so we should have a new little neighbor in the 'hood by tomorrow afternoon! YEAH!

Here are a few pictures I have been meaning to post:

A few weeks ago Julie & I hosted a baby shower for Sara & Ryan! It was a couples shower, which made it a lot of fun! We made it casual w/burgers and appetizers! They had a great turnout and got a lot of great, useful gifts! We should be expecting a new baby Glenn in the 'hood around Mid-March!

Lex and Ryan also had a very successful fishing trip last weekend! They have found their sweet spot I believe! They caught all of these fish in one morning. And then we ate them all in one evening! (all 6 of us, not just me and Lex...haha) They sure were tasty! I like his fishing trips when he comes back with this kind of cookin'!

We're finally letting the cat out of the bag....

We're PREGNANT!!!!

I am actually 9 weeks today! I am sorry that we weren't able to tell everyone when we were home for Christmas, but we wanted to go to the doctor first to make sure everything appreared to be okay...we went this week and every is looking great so far! So we thought we'd start by sharing this great news on the blog!

Here is our first ultrasound! We even got to hear the heartbeat already, which was strong at 158 beats per minute! They had no trouble at all finding it, which was a huge relief!

We couldn't be happier!!

I have been feeling a little nauseous for the past several weeks and extremely tired, but luckily I haven't actually gotten sick, which is a blessing! Only 3 more weeks in the first trimester, which is really hard to believe. We go back to the doctor this week to meet with the nurse and discuss all the do's and don't's! I'll try to keep you updated throughout our fun journey!

Due Date: August 15th - mark it on your calender :o)

Better Late Than Never....Merry Christmas

This year we traveled to Texas as usual for the holidays. Since Lex had a few more vacation days left this year, I stayed for a full week and he stayed about a week and a half, just in time to be back for New Year's Eve!

We started the week off in Dallas with party after party and loving all the family time! We had the big Kilgore Party at my parents house on Sunday, our immediate family party on Monday night and then Cindy and Matt had to head out of town on Tuesday and then Lex and I stayed and went to dinner with some friends on Tuesday.

Wednesday (Christmas Eve) we headed down to Pleasanton to see Lex's side of the family. We opened presents with his family that day and then spent Christmas Day at Sandra's mother's house and that side of the family. The rest of the time in Pleasanton we had a chance to really enjoy the ranch (especially Ginobili)

Ginobili teaching himself to swim, he never quit got it down, but at least he was trying!

Tuckered out after running, chasing and galloping across the ranch! Man he was having fun!

The fishing spot - lots of luck here!

Somehow I didn't end up getting any pictures of me or Sandra in Pleasanton, but we had a great time relaxing and visiting!

Merry Christmas...oh and Hapy New Year!! haha! Sorry I'm a little late :o)
