We're PREGNANT!!!!
I am actually 9 weeks today! I am sorry that we weren't able to tell everyone when we were home for Christmas, but we wanted to go to the doctor first to make sure everything appreared to be okay...we went this week and every is looking great so far! So we thought we'd start by sharing this great news on the blog!
Here is our first ultrasound! We even got to hear the heartbeat already, which was strong at 158 beats per minute! They had no trouble at all finding it, which was a huge relief!
We couldn't be happier!!
I have been feeling a little nauseous for the past several weeks and extremely tired, but luckily I haven't actually gotten sick, which is a blessing! Only 3 more weeks in the first trimester, which is really hard to believe. We go back to the doctor this week to meet with the nurse and discuss all the do's and don't's! I'll try to keep you updated throughout our fun journey!

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I just knew it!! I was wondering how you two could be surrounded by all these pregnant people and not get bit by the baby bug! We are so happy for you! Your lives are going to change so much in the next few months! I can't express how overjoyed we are for you! Can't wait for the updates! Dearest Poths in South Carolina, It is awesome that this 'cat' is out of the bag...everyone we have told here in Pleasanton are simply elated, as Dad and I are! This is the best Christmas present you could have possibly given Daddy and me---nothing like this feeling!I feel like I am now able to join the only club I have wanted to belong to---the very special Grandma's Club---BUT, I will be GRAMMY, right? AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo excited!!!! I had to double check whose blog I was reading when I saw this. How amazing!!! I am so extremely excited for the two of you. I know you will make wonderful parents. Congratulations!!! This is the best news I've heard so far this year!!! BTW, I'm agreeing with Karen & Cindy; I think y'all will have a girl too!;)....although, I'm usually wrong about these things.

You know what? For some reason at Christmas I thought you were pregnant.... Isn't that weird?? I don't know why I thought it, but I did! We are so excited for you!!! Kevin & Nahee will be excited that their SON will have a little cousin about the same age!!

Congratulations y'all! That's great news. I have really enjoyed pregnancy and hope you find it as fun and exciting as we have. I thought you might be...don't know why really. I have no boy or girl opinion, but just remember that heart rate and how you're carrying don't have a lick to do with it...otherwise we would be having a girl. ;) Enjoy it!!!! Can't wait for updates.
