Saturday marked my 37th week...as of today we have 19 days left. But...we went to the doctor on Friday and they have told me that they anticipate Baby Poth to come before that...but the more I tell people that the more I hear "don't get excited" she may wait until 41 weeks, so I am trying not to get too excited yet! Who knows, it could be tomorrow or it could be into August 20th!! Waiting is the hardest part at this point, we are very ready and can't wait to meet our little girl!
In the meantime though, we are keeping busy "nesting"...cleaning house, freezing meals, etc! Here is my 37 week picture!
This weekend, Lex made some fresh salsa from the tomatoes and peppers in the garden! It is fabulous! We decided to can it this time around and are so excited to be able to save a few jars worth for later in the year! It's hard to eat a stock pot of salsa before it goes bad...which we have tried to do before :o) Now we can savor it and enjoy it year round!

A new baby AND salsa---what a combo! We are holding our breaths in Texas, so I sure hope that there isn't the 41st week thing!

How beautiful you look, Kristi! Can't wait to see pictures of the new little one soon. And yeah...try not to get your hopes up. It made my last 3 weeks VERY long as they kept telling me any day now b/c I kept dilating more and more every week.
I can tell you've been dropping. The countdown is on!
I thought you were going to tell us a story about going Salsa dancing at 37 weeks!:) You look absolutely beautiful as usual. I know you both must be extremely anxious as the rest of us are awaiting baby girl Poth's arrival. Everyone's different, so you're right... it could be tomorrow or (hopefully not) you could be like me & keep that baby in until 41 weeks! Either way, it will be here before you know it & you will be amazed at how much your life will change for the better so quickly. It will be hard to imagine life without your sweet little miracle!:)
Any day now!!!! And canning the salsa is an excellent idea! How do you make it air tight??
