Every since Lex and I got married I have been searching for Christmas stockings. I never found any I really got excited about until recently. I was under a little more pressure this year because we needed to get Katelyn a stocking for her first Christmas. Since I hadn't found any I really liked, I was going to make them myself. Luckily though, I found these great ones from Pottery Barn Kids. Lex has said since I started searching 4 years ago that once I found some I liked we should get enough for our future family....

Yes, that is 8 stockings...3 for us now, 2 for our possible future children and 3 extras for their spouses!! Yes, you read correctly - their spouses! Lex really likes the idea of having all the stockings match (even 20+ years from now!!) I love it! Guess we'll be storing them for awhile, unless we some how end up with more than 3 kids :o)

Well, now THAT is the most courageous 'early Christmas shopping' I have ever heard of! Let's see...one for a Katelyn spouse and then 4 more....hmmmm, does that mean maybe 2 siblings for Katelyn, OR does Ginobili get one somewhere???? Grammy
That is really funny :) I could never do that...lee and I have had new stockings every year! I like the idea of Brenden always having the same one (I still have the same one at my parents house) but I change my mind all the time on what I want! I guess I will really have to find the perfect ones :)
Y'all are so cute!!! These are the same stockings that we have for our family! We have gotten the kids "First Christmas" stockings each year & then on their second Christmas gotten them a new one. They are the best... and really big. Now you just have to get the super-cute tree skirt to match!:)
