The initial reason we headed to Texas was for Lex's good friend, Jennie's wedding. It all just worked out perfectly to squeeze in a visit with my family & Lex's family in the same week. Especially with a baby on the way now, it will be harder to travel in the months to come!
The last weekend we were in Texas, we asked my parents to keep Katelyn for us, in hopes of one last hooray before our little man arrives. It was great! We stayed at the Palacico del Rio on the River Walk and had some time to hang out with several other couples that had come in for the wedding, relax by the pool, eat out (with no distractions), tour the riverwalk, shop, etc. THANK YOU for coming in town JUST to give us this one weekend of freedom, we really appreciate it :)
Here we are before the wedding, I didn't take my camera to the wedding, so this is all you get :) It was beautiful & a ton of fun! I just wish I could have joined in on the festivities a little more, if you know what I mean :)
