Today I am 39 weeks! woo hoo!! The doc said that he didn't expect me to make it this far, boy was he wrong & it sure made for a long week of waiting. BUT - we went to the doc this morning & since this is my 2nd baby he recommended I go ahead and schedule an induction, reassuring me that it should make for an easy delivery. Let's just hope he is right this time!
So tomorrow is the day!! We were told to call in at 5 am tomorrow morning to see if they had a bed available for us and if so, we head on in and get the process going!
If all goes as planned, our little guy's birthday will be 11-9-11! (9 being a lucky number in this fam)! We are so excited and hope to get a good nights rest tonight!
The good thing about the doc's prediction last week was that my Mom came in a day early to be here just in case I did go into labor. We have loved having her here and it definitely gave us peace of mind, just in case something should happen. Katelyn is LOVING Mimi's attention, she has told both Lex and I to go away so she can play with Mimi. I think Mimi deserves a BIG break after this :) I hope she isn't wearing her out too much, because the fun is just beginning!! Here they are playing with Thomas the Train & in the McDonald's playground.
