Happy Thanksgiving

We started Thanksgiving week off with a visit from Grammy & Pappy arriving on Monday evening. Just in time to go watch Katelyn in her Thanksgiving Pageant at school on Tuesday morning. It was adorable. They made these adorable hats and each class sang 2+ songs in front of all the parents in the chapel. K's class sang, I'm a Nut and Fat Turkey! She did great and had practiced the songs at home so I had already been singing them myself too :) We got a great video too, so maybe I'll post that one day soon!

On Wednesday, my parents arrived in time for Levi's Birthday party, then the house was converted over to Thanksgiving decor! (By Friday morning it was then time for Xmas - 3 different decors in 3 days, whew!)

Thanksgiving Day...Our table was so beautiful this year. The Poth's sent us a beautiful centerpiece of fresh flowers and a new table runner, Mimi brought me some antique silver candle holders, and Katelyn made our place cards. She actually wrote each person's name on each card as well (or traced that is), but I was very impressed with how hard she tried and how well she did. I think we'll keep them to use from years to come!

K's adorable bow!

Levi loves wrestling with his Daddy!

Sweet

Time to chow down!

Football and playtime!

And now it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....her first official gingerbread house, made with Mimi!

Keep reading...I posted another one tonight too...

Thanksgiving sure showed us all what we are thankful for...bad grammar, yes! The kids are just the most wonderful gift there is!
Enjoyed having both pairs of grandparents being together and sharing your wonderful home, Poths!
THANKS from Grammy and Pappy!
