Christmas

Well, we made it safely home after a 2 week trip to Texas and back. We had a great time, but it sure is good to be home. It felt a lot like Christmas again when we unpacked the car with all these new toys! Today we decided to move our big desk from the playroom down to store in the garage to make room for more toys!

A couple of things to remember about this trip. Poor Levi - he had a rough time! He burnt his poor hand touching a light bulb. He screamed for at least an hour and it blistered up pretty bad. It's still not healed. He fell and hit his head on a tile step and still has a dent in his forehead. And he got his 2nd haircut that cut all his little blonde tips off, so sad for this Momma! After a not-so-fun hotel stay on the way out there, Lex drove 17 hours straight on our way home - Super Dad!  My Mom caught the flu too, so we are all still on alert hoping we don't come down with anything!

Keep scrolling...I posted a lot tonight. All the way down to "Sad Goodbyes".....

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Houston Christmas

This sums up our visit in Houston....Mimi enjoying the fancy drinks that were being served! :)

For real though, we had a fabulous time at Cindy & Matt's house in Houston. We drove over on Christmas morning and they had made a full sit down lunch - turkey, ham, dressing, mash potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beens, rolls with honey butter, etc. etc! After we ate, we all took naps, then it took us about 6 hours to get through all the presents - due to our kiddos not wanting to sleep in yet another new place :)

Tea Party Time

We had time to do a little after Christmas shopping and we took the kids to Drew's Gymboree classes/free play. They had a blast! And Mimi got in a workout too!

And now it's time to rest!

We have a great family picture to come...hint hint...mom, can you email it to me??

Pleasanton Christmas

After our Dallas Trip, we headed to Plesanton to spend some time with the Poth side of the family. We spent a lot of time playing at the ranch. The kids absolutely loved that and we did too! The highlights were seeing lots of deer, a bob cat, javlina's, the new mule (we are riding in below), and a bonfire cookout complete with smores!

Our ranch boy with camo boots!

Checking out Aunt Peggy's new ride...

And practicing her Miss America wave!

My Aunt Linda Kay & Uncle Bubbie came down from San Antonio to visit too. We had a great time catching up and we're so glad they came!

Levi loved the flash on my phone and would ham it up each time...the lighting is horrible, but these are priceless!

We had to document Pappy brushing Katelyn's hair after her bath...hehe!

Oh my, Katelyn LOVED meeting baby Jake. Lex's cousin Nikki had a baby on Halloween and we were lucky enough to meet the little man. He is soo sweet and Katelyn couldn't keep her eyes off of him!

More bonfire and ranch time...

Present time...

Where's Levi??

We were also able to visit Lex's grandmother, Nanny. She has been having a rough time, so it was nice to be able to visit her around Christmas. We are constantly praying for her and hope our visit brought a little joy to her this Christmas.

There's a new child in the manager...

Merry Christmas Grammy & Pappy!! We had a great time and miss you already!
