Snow Storm

We had a nice surprise on Saturday afternoon...SNOW! Katelyn was actually in her room "napping" while the rest of us were actually napping, she came out of her room and woke us up to let us know it was snowing! Crazy! We watched from the window for awhile, it was really coming down hard and covered everything up in no time. When Levi woke up we all bundled up and headed outside to play!

Levi was not a fan....

Katelyn however, was truly in heaven....she has wanted it to snow all winter, first thing on the list - a snow angel!

It was beautiful! We ran, played in the backyard, had a snowball fight, went down to the creek (Levi actually tolerated that part and didn't want to leave.)

Then it was time to build a snow-woman - Pinkie, that is! Katelyn's idea to use the volleyball (with snow for hair) as her head.

Levi was happier on the inside while snowballs were thrown at him through the window!

**Notice Lex's ski goggles and NO SOCKS - crazy boy!**

I love Katelyn's excitement too. I can just imagine how much fun she must have had that day playing in the snow with her family. Poor Levi, I can tell by his expression that he didn't like the cold, white stuff. I will surprised if he doesn't like it next year. Snow is so beautiful. I love seeing your happy family. Thanks for sharing with us.
I lovvve you. Mimi

These are just wonderful pictures of the snow...what a real treat for yall to have this happen! I know Katelyn had to feel her prayers were being answered...her sweet expressions tell the whole story of her joy! Levi was probably having little 'My hands are totally frozen, Mama' thoughts and couldn't get past that cold, cold wet stuff...wait until next year...he will be out there throwing those snowballs with the rest of yall! I love the snow angel picture AND the picture of Mama and Levi inside while Katelyn throws snowballs at the door...he DID like that action! When it is new and still white, nothing is as beautiful! Sure glad you got to do this! Grammy and Pappy LOVE their little Snowbunnies!
