Our baby is TWO!

We had such a fun day celebrating Levi's 2nd Birthday! It's amazing how quickly they change and grow. He is growing into such a sweet, fun loving boy. He loves music (he is very attune to a variety of sounds), repeating everyone and getting pretty good at having little conversations with us, he is infatuated with cars/trucks/lawn mowers/blowers (anything with wheels or makes noise) , he has an infectious laugh and has a true sense of humor, loves tickles, cuddles and his big sister!!! He is going to be a great big brother and gets some practice playing with Katelyn's baby dolls. He changes their diapers, rocks them to sleep, and when they fall down, he always gives them big hugs and kisses! Such a sweet thing!

Today we spent the morning playing with some of his new toys, then went to Monkey Joe's with the family and out to dinner for pizza and ice cream! Although I doubt he really understands what his birthday means, he was all smiles and laughter throughout the day! He had fun, that's for sure!

A few recent pictures from Lex's phone too...

We love you little man!! Can't wait to see how your little personality grows over the years. But for now, I am loving this stage!

Levi's 2nd Birthday Party

This morning we had Levi's birthday party at Heritage Park here in Simpsonville. It turned out perfect! It did sprinkle before the party started, but the sun came out and ended up being a great time. The theme was "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood". It's a cute show on PBS based off of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, that I used to watch as a kid. He loves the show, so we went off of it. He loves to say Ugga Mugga like Daniel, so we had this cute shirt made especially for him! We had tiger cupcakes, tiger plates and even rode the "trolley"...i.e. the train :) We had a great time with all our little friends and their mommas and so glad that even Daddy got to take a break from work and come for a little bit, although we apparently didn't get a picture of us with the birthday boy! Luckily, tomorrow is his actual birthday, so we'll get one then! Happy Birthday Little Man! We love you!!

Sky Top 2013

We had a great time visiting Sky Top Orchard in North Carolina this weekend. We were actually the first people there at 9 am, which was a big surprise. We'd heard stories about how crowded it has been, but I guess once you get into November the crowds slow down, it was perfect. Many more people showed up throughout the morning, but no where near crowded. We went all out this year and did everything they have to offer...fresh hot cider donuts, hot cider, apple picking, hay ride, animal feeding, picture taking, playground playing and finished it off with a picnic lunch. Perfect Fall Day!

I think they had fun, they both slept the whole way home.
