We've had quite a bit of nice weather (and some cold and rainy), but we've tried to take advantage of the nice weekends especially. First, we went fishing at our friend's, The Smith's, ranch. Lex and Lee both caught some pretty huge bass and the kids loved playing with their kids, Brenden and Charlotte.
We also took an afternoon and headed up to Boerne to explore. We found a great spot to feed the ducks! What a cute little town.
We also got San Antonio Zoo family membership and headed their with some new friends from Katelyn's school and again this week with Mimi and Pops.
There are several state parks around to explore, this one we climbed up a nice steep hill to get a pretty nice view (my pictures don't quite do it justice). Although not quite the mountains of NC, at least we've got quite a bit of nice hiking trails around here too. And actually quite a bit closer too. This is 15 minutes from our house!
