Ahh, to be 5!

I am not great about writing down the funny things the kids say, but Katelyn said two pretty memorable things yesterday I had to jot down:

#1 - She bought her lunch as school and when she got home she was listing off what she ate...."Chocolate milk, french fries, graham crackers, goldfish, and yogurt, but I didn't have time to eat my yogurt."
Me - "Did you have any meat?"
K- "No meat."
Me - "Did you have any cheese?"
K - "Goldfish"
Me - "Bahahaha...that's not real cheese!"
K - "Well, the lunch ladies said that I made great choices today on my tray."

***Seriously?? This is why she takes her lunch 90% of the time! Funny though that she thought goldfish counted at cheese :)

#2 - We read Charlie Brown's Christmas at bed and at the end they sing "Hark the Herald", so we were singing along and Katelyn said, "You should be on the radio, Mom, you are really good at that!!"
