2nd Grade Fun

Katelyn's had a ton of fun at school in October.....Pumpkin Patch contest, Bike Rodeo, field trip, walk-a-thon, etc! 

Here's her pumpkin she made for the pumpkin patch contest this year. Basically you chose a book character to decorate your pumpkin as, she chose the Fly from Diary of a Fly. So cute! She got 4th place last year, so she really wanted to win. We now know, you need a full backdrop to go with your pumpkin if you want to win....next year :) She did a great job and had fun!

Crazy Hair & Pajama Day

Bike Rodeo....this was her first year to compete.

Field Trip to the South Texas Corn Maize....we had so much fun and I loved the one on one time with my girl!

A storm came through about 5 minutes before we were supposed to load the bus and we all got drenched. So glad the morning was nice before the downpour. Here's her fun class about to head home.

This past Friday they had Walk-a-thon and Lex was able to go run with her to earn laps for her class. They ran 20 laps together in the morning and then she went back that afternoon and ran 19 more. At 1/4 mile for each lap....that's a lot!! 

She is loving 2nd Grade!
