We headed up to DFW the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with my family. We were able to go to our Kilgore Family Dinner one night at Spring Creek, then the next night we headed to Taylor's new house to have Christmas with that side of our family, and then the next day we opened presents with Mimi & Pops. Whew, lots of fun in a few days. The kids and I stayed a few extra days to play with Mimi and Pops while Lex headed back early to work a little. We really missed having my sister, Drew, & Matt around this Christmas. They were in North Carolina at Duke/Ronald McDonald house, but we are soooooo thankful that are back in Texas and we'll have another Christmas celebration once they are settled. Prayers were definitely answered to have them back home before the New Year! It wasn't the same this year without them.

We were also able to meet for a quick lunch with Jennie & Mary, but unfortunately didn't get a chance to meet up with any other friends this trip. Hopefully next time, we'll plan better and have extra time to meet up with more friends.
We spent a whole day at Legoland.....these kiddos love legos right now, so Mimi splurged on us and got us in! They loved it!!
