Merry & Bright

This past weekend we went to see Santa and our annual Milk & Cookies event....here is Kyler a little nervous, but excited to finally sit on Santa's lap (without crying)!!! And we had success! They all LOVED Santa this year!

Levi asked for a police car with a siren, a lego police set, and moon rocks (which he told Elfie Tada how to make for him - you take nice rocks, wash them, paint them whatever color you want, add glitter and put them in an egg carton!) He sure has been a sweet kid this year, I'm sure he's on Santa's nice list!

Katelyn asked Santa for an American Girl Loft Bed & two secret items, only Santa knows! She said she's a little nervous this year because she knows she hasn't been good all the time, mainly to her brothers, but I hope she gets what she wants!

All Kyler asked for was a whoopie cushion!! LOL, I love it! We used to have one, but it popped, so he's hoping for a new one. Katelyn made sure to be a helpful big sister and gave him some good advice....to ask for either a better quality whoopie cushion or several in case the first one breaks. (Good thinking, Katelyn!)

More Christmas fun....

Kyler has really gotten into wrapping, making, and addressing the gifts this year. Which has been great practice, he is doing so well writing and really loves it! He's a self starter, Mr. Independent!

And a little Cricut fun with Kyler's hand and footprints made into a wreath on canvas. Pinterest Success!

Matchy Matchy!! :)

Preschool Days

Birthday Parties, school fun, even climbing trees. Cherishing these days!

SNOW in San Antonio!!!

It's true, it actually snowed in San Antonio on the evening of December 7th. We had just finished dinner and Lex went out to check the weather and said it was started to snow...I in disbelief, kept doing the dishes but the kids went to check it out. Not long later, they all came back in with snowflakes on their heads and jackets! What a shocker! We bundled up more and headed out for snow angles, snowball fights, etc. The flakes were so big and it stuck! We couldn't believe it. Lex was convinced the kids wouldn't have school the next day, but unfortunately the roads were fine and they did have to go. Their teachers did all take them out in the morning to play in it though, what a fun memory they'll have!

The view from our back deck the next morning! Beautiful!
