We're almost there!

These pictures are actually about a week old...but you'll get a good idea of what's going on at least. The walls and trim are all painted, doors installed, door handles, light fixtures, toilets are in, faucets installed. dishwasher went in today, beam went in a few days ago.....carpet should be installed in the bedrooms tomorrow! Next week the remaining flooring, plumbing, and brick for the front porch....then lots of clean up and paint touch-ups.....And then we'll be moving in! Just in time to decorate for Christmas!

We went with the Oyster White and the darkest stain for the exterior...They started staining the wood beams today, so I'll take a pic once it's complete. We're loving the farmhouse look so far. Below is the pic before they started painting.

This is SEVEN! Happy Birthday Levi!

Levi had a fantastic birthday this year! He was on cloud nine all day! He woke up super early, so he had time to open presents before school! He got his requested kolaches, croissants, fruit, & chocolate milk for breakfast! And was just ear to ear smiles all day!

Kyler and I went to school to have lunch with him! We loved seeing him during the day and love this sweet smile. He was pumped to see us too, if you can't tell!

After school, he played with all his new toys! He put together this whole lego set and played with the remote control jeep Pappy got him the most. He also got a drone that he can control with his hands, his own set of drawers with a full set of school supplies that are just his (this has inspired a lot more drawing and coloring, which he hasn't shown must interest in on his own until now), a Garmin Junior watch, and a collectors edition police car. He's one lucky kiddo! His favorite show is Annedroids on Amazon TV, so Kyler and I made him an "annedroid" cake (aka: a robot cake inspired by pinterest). It was a ton of fun to make and it was covered in Halloween candy....I think he liked it!

Mimi and Pops came to celebrate a few days before his birthday. We always have a sweet time with them. These kiddos love time with grandparents. They even happily shared their Halloween candy with them! Levi got a weather science lab and a weather radio from them. We've already "made waves" and look forward to other fun weather experiments!

Since we didn't have a party this year, Levi got to pick how we celebrated! His first request was to eat dinner at the restaurant inside the Tower of Americas....BUT that was a little pricey! So his second choice was Rainforest Cafe and a trip to the Alamo....so that's what we did. They had him dance and flap his wings while they sang Happy Birthday...and he loved it!

Happy Birthday, LFP4! We love you more than you'll ever know. You've grown so much this year, not only in size but maturity. You moved to a new town and a new school with so much ease. Your love for understanding how things work, including cars has not stopped as you've gotten bigger. I pray that you continue your passion to learn and understand how and why things work. You're going to do amazing things one day, God has big plans for you sweet boy! And I can't wait to watch you along the way. BUT don't grow up too quickly.

Halloween

Carvning our pumpkin!

Kyler's class at school had a Halloween party - they started with Freeze Dance to Halloween music.
And ended with a plate full of yumminess!

Earlier in the month...shopping for costumes...LOL

Poth PTO puts on a big festival for Halloween. It was pretty fun! they had lots of little games, a bounce house, a haunted house, burgers, a cake walk, etc. I helped with the Pumpkin spinner game for part of the night, the kids loved helping!

Halloween Night! Two skeletons, Miles & Chip & Jo!

We had to drive around town a bit to find the hoppin' spots, but once we found them, they were hopin'! It was a great night!

Recent Fun

It's Fall Y'all

School has been pretty eventful lately. Here Levi got to have breakfast with his HS crewmate, who is a football player and a plays the trumpet in the band. Levi loves this "buddy" of his!

Pep Rally Friday's are always a fun time!

We went up to San Antonio a few weeks ago to see some friends...Here's Ava & Austen, we also saw Levi's friend, Gabe, and went to Girl Scouts! It was great to reconnect. We hope to stay in touch with everyone! And have them all down to see the house when it's ready too!

4th Grade Girls at the football game!

Kyler was invited to a birthday party at Main Event, so we decided to all go. Katelyn was accepted into the GT program at Poth, so we decided to treat her to a zipline adventure to celebrate (she's been asking to go since this summer!). We all had a blast - bowling, laser tag, video games, and pizza!

This past weekend we had a great time celebrating Jen & Coleman and their new baby boy! Can't wait to have another baby in the family!

Then we enjoyed a night at the ranch. Perfect crisp Fall night!

And mounds of rock for the kids to play on, it kept them entertained all night long!

Now for a plethora of Kyler....since we get to spend most days together, he gets the most pictures! Really enjoying this time with our creative, colorful, smart, crazy kiddo!

If he's not playing "Miles from tomorrowland" then he's drawing/writing/coloring something. Below he wanted to make a book and he named it "My Little Book of Us"...adorable!

Getting started early.....he asked for a robotic toothbrush so he can brush his teeth all by himself. LOL

His fine motor skills have always amazed me since he was a baby! Tracing numbers, then coloring the rows. He loves worksheets!

And my sweet girl wither her sweet baby!
