Levi had a fantastic birthday this year! He was on cloud nine all day! He woke up super early, so he had time to open presents before school! He got his requested kolaches, croissants, fruit, & chocolate milk for breakfast! And was just ear to ear smiles all day!
Kyler and I went to school to have lunch with him! We loved seeing him during the day and love this sweet smile. He was pumped to see us too, if you can't tell!
After school, he played with all his new toys! He put together this whole lego set and played with the remote control jeep Pappy got him the most. He also got a drone that he can control with his hands, his own set of drawers with a full set of school supplies that are just his (this has inspired a lot more drawing and coloring, which he hasn't shown must interest in on his own until now), a Garmin Junior watch, and a collectors edition police car. He's one lucky kiddo! His favorite show is Annedroids on Amazon TV, so Kyler and I made him an "annedroid" cake (aka: a robot cake inspired by pinterest). It was a ton of fun to make and it was covered in Halloween candy....I think he liked it!
Mimi and Pops came to celebrate a few days before his birthday. We always have a sweet time with them. These kiddos love time with grandparents. They even happily shared their Halloween candy with them! Levi got a weather science lab and a weather radio from them. We've already "made waves" and look forward to other fun weather experiments!
Since we didn't have a party this year, Levi got to pick how we celebrated! His first request was to eat dinner at the restaurant inside the Tower of Americas....BUT that was a little pricey! So his second choice was Rainforest Cafe and a trip to the Alamo....so that's what we did. They had him dance and flap his wings while they sang Happy Birthday...and he loved it!
Happy Birthday, LFP4! We love you more than you'll ever know. You've grown so much this year, not only in size but maturity. You moved to a new town and a new school with so much ease. Your love for understanding how things work, including cars has not stopped as you've gotten bigger. I pray that you continue your passion to learn and understand how and why things work. You're going to do amazing things one day, God has big plans for you sweet boy! And I can't wait to watch you along the way. BUT don't grow up too quickly.
