Christmas at the Fleharty's

We were finally able to celebrate Christmas with Cindy & Drew!! Our family had colds/allergies/something for a few weeks and when we were all finally healthy we headed up to Austin to celebrate Christmas! And we had so much fun! Thanks for a fun day and for all the presents!

Last Week of 2017

We didn't do much the last week of 2017. We played with new toys, watched TV, went to see Ferdinand and Wonder (both great movies), and the kids loved staying home! By the end of their break, they finally started sleeping till 7 am....just in time for school to start back and now I have to wake them up at 6:30. LOL

The 28th we spent the day with Pappy for his birthday. A full day of tacos, fishing & fun....the best fishing at the ranch we've had in years! We loved spending the day with Pappy!! Happy Birthday!

New Years Eve Eve, we celebrated with The Smiths, Owens, & Woodwards in New Braunfels just as we did last year. Great food, lots of fun, great friends and even fireworks. I forgot my phone at home, so no pictures this year, boo. Thanks for hosting Smiths! 

New Years Day....Lex cooked his amazing black eyed peas, greens, & ham! Here's hoping to a great 2018!

Christmas in Kingsland

After a full day of Christmas at our house, we packed up and headed to Lindsay's in Kingsland. We had planned to do Christmas with Fred & Lindsay the day after Christmas, but the kids begged to open presents that night, so we did. Her house looked amazing, so cozy and festive!

The next day we hung around and relaxed in the morning, burned a big bonfire, and the kids watched movies on their new DVD players from Pappy. We headed back late that afternoon after a fun and exciting couple of days! 

I caught Lex napping with his new "jorts"....LOL...a new Christmas boots! It's a good look! :)

Christmas Day

SANTA CAME!!! 

These kiddos must have been so good this year! 

Kyler got his wish....a Whoopee Cushion (and several extras!!) and a police station!

Levi got Moon Rocks, a new bike, and the lego police station he asked for!

Katelyn got a loft bed for Kit, spy glasses, and a pogo stick!

Plus way too much from Mommy & Daddy!! It was a fun morning of presents, candy & play!

That afternoon my parents came down from Austin and Uncle Bubbie & Linda Kay came over too. We were planning to spend the afternoon with Cindy & Drew, but because our kiddos had a cold, we didn't want to risk infecting Drew, so we had to improvise a little. We are still waiting for our colds to completely go away to have our Christmas with Cindy. We are hoping for this weekend!

The kids made their presents, Kyler & Levi drew lots of pictures, and Katelyn made Mimi a house! Jokingly Mimi said she wanted a house for Christmas, so Katelyn made her one :) She also made me a snow globe out of tinsel, packing tape & packing styrofoam (I was impressed, I"m saving it to use as decorations for future Christmases. . She and Levi made Lex a back scratcher, "spanking hand", and a screw organizer for the garage....all out of cardboard, tape, etc. 

Then we played Beanboozeled....it was entertaining, to say the least! Ewwww!

It was great to spend the afternoon with Uncle Bubbie & Linda Kay too! Christmas is the best when your with family.
