The day after school got out, we decided to start our Christmas vacation with some adventure! It was a beautiful day to go hiking!! We all made it up to the top with no problem. The last time we were here Kyler was a newborn, it was summertime, and I forgot his hat.....so he and I stayed in the shade at the bottom while Lex took the two bigger kids up. I was excited to have three kids old enough to walk their own way up and down!
A few minutes after this, on our way down, Kyler slipped and scraped up his leg and landed in some thorns. He cried for a full hour...maybe longer. The thorns must have been some kind of stinging thorn, poor kiddo. Luckily Lex pulled them all out and he finally calmed down. Luckily this was on our way down and not up :)
Overall, we had a great time!!
