The last weekend in August, we were able to attend the Memorial for my Great Uncle Bill, who passed away this last December in California at the age of 102. His daughters, Gail & Dawn, came down from California to bury half of his ashes in McKinney, Uncle Bill's home town. We haven't seen Gail and Dawn in many years, so it was a great reunion with our Hill family as well.
We were all able to help bury his ashes and share stories of his life. He was an amazingly adventurous man, a great storyteller, incredibly smart, and lived life to the fullest.
Gail was able to come to South Texas for the first part of her trip and we were glad to host dinner in our home and catch up with her and Uncle Bubbie and Linda Kay!
