The last few weeks of Homeschool....
Read the Very Hungry Caterpillar and then go find a caterpillar...
Write Letters and Numbers in shaving cream....
Playing a math game with cards....we played War...
Read a book outside....
We made wishing jars (just for fun too)...
Trace your body and label your body parts in sidewalk chalk....
Find materials around your house you can recycle.....they made a cardboard box city (now I'm trying to convince them it's time we can recycle them, but they won't yet, boo!)
Sight Word practice....playing Erudition.
Engineering Stem fun.....building with marshmallows and toothpicks.
Katelyn made a Ferris Wheel
Levi made a bridge.
Spelling Word pushups!
Levi's very last day reading assignment....read a book to a sibling!
And that's a wrap!! The kiddos all did an amazing job, there were a few grumbles at times, but overall, they did their work without complaining too much and we still had most of our days to play! Katelyn isn't pictured much because she worked on my computer in my office for her work, she had a lot more worksheets, reading assignments, quizzes, etc. Not as many fun activities as the boys!
We survived home school and although they say they would love being home schooled all the time, I I am looking forward to them learning from someone other than me! And I know they would miss seeing friends if they were home all year!
